Simpson Cleaning 3400 PSI Gas Pressure Washer, 2.5 GPM Power Washer for Residential Use, Kohler RH265 Engine, 25-Foot MorFlex Hose, MegaShot, 49-State (MS61084-S)

I bought this power washer last year. My old Titan Commercial grade washer had finally gone thru enough pumps to turn me off after 13 years of service and I decided I needed, for peace of mind, a new power washer. This one sounded good except for one review referencing a motor mount issue. It seems the issue was a vibration situation and one reviewer said the engine fell off in his driveway. I am a DIY guy and fully capable of protecting myself from such an issue. I have experience with Kohler engines and my experience has been very positive. So, I measured the size of the motor suspension mounts when I first received my washer and ordered a replacement set of fully nylon replacement bushings ($5.00) in case I ever needed them. I also ordered a kit which includes washers, etc as common replacement items (8.00) in case I have need to replace them. To date they both remain in my storage box as nothing whatsoever has happened to make me want to use them. This washer is quiet. low vibration, and powerful. It starts easily, especially if I hold the water pressure off the gun allowing me to pull the start rope rapidly. This is a great product especially for the price. I have a log home in AR which requires frequent maintenance for washing (i.e. black mold, dust, etc). This machine gets the job done easily. I also have the advantage of retaining certain parts off my old washer. My old gun which was a variable, works just fine on this hose and is more useful for certain tasks. I could not be happier with this purchase and highly recommend it to all.

This is a great power washer that has more than enough power to wash through the toughest stains I bought it to replace one that is similar to it but rated at 4000 psi but it is worn-out from many years of use this new one is just as powerful and seems to be well made for the price I don't believe it can be beaten. Setup is simple and fast but I do recommend that you buy the fifty foot hose for it, the one that came with it is just 20 foot and for me it was a little short other than that I can't see anything negative about it at all, the Koler engine is very easy to start and it is just as reliable as any other engine on the market. Great product but I will update the review if it becomes necessary

Been using this model for 2 years solid now. Starts every time. Only had one time it didn’t start so I popped the spark plug out and put a dab of gas in and it started right up. Only negative is pull start but it starts pretty easy.

I have had nothing but trouble from this pressure washer. I would not recommend anyone to purchase it. I purchased this in early April from Amazon which was my first mistake. It was the same price as at Home Depot, but I could get it delivered free so I went with Amazon. I received it and assembled it, no problem. Started using it to clean my drive and trying out the different nozzles to see how they worked. About 10 minutes into using it the pressure went to nothing. I tried it the next day - and same - no pressure. I called Customer Service and they said I needed to take it to a local repair shop they recommended. The repair shop said it would take 3 weeks before they would get to in.. I am thinking "I wish I bought it at Home Depot - I would just take it back" Three weeks later, the shop called to say I could pick up the machine. They said they took it apart and found nothing wrong, everything worked fine - AND THEY CHARGED ME $45 to look at it. Yesterday I was using the washer to clean my deck, after about 30 min of use and I just got the stairs done the pressure went to nothing again and when I looked at the machine water was spraying all around the pump. A bolt holding part of the pump together broke and it is completely unusable now. Because my purchase is a few days over a month old, Amazon says it is not eligible for return. Now I am sitting on hold with Simpson Customer Service - listening to a recording of how much they look forward to helping me! Again! Besides the troubles I had, I would not recommend purchasing this pressure washer for the way it operates. - It does not have a regulator on it. - When it runs, the machine vibrates so bad it walks all over the place. - It also vibrates so bad that it unscrewed the water hose from the pump twice in the short time I was using it. This is a bad design. This was the first time I purchased a Simpson pressure washer and I did because it was rated so high on both the Amazon site and Consumer Reports. My experience was not anywhere near a good rating. Simpson Customer Service is also not very helpful and after sitting on hold for over 30 min when it seemed an agent was answering, they disconnected. Argggg.

Very good pressure washer. Easy to start. Gas tank could be bigger to run longer. The screws on top should be stainless. They rusted almost immediately.
