Love this filter and I have tried several. Only drawback is getting the timer correct. It starts from the time you first plug it in.

Do not hesitate to buy....this is a great little pump! I use in in a water-fountain in my yard in dusty santa fe. It super polishes the water, leaves it crystal clear and sweet smelling... and is easy to clean and store. Also, I got a follow up note from the vendor..that's cool. I am 100% happy and this is a super buy. I noticed a blue light in the filer and wondered is that UV light to kill germs.....good luck....

Loved that the case is clear and you can see the that thebfilter is clean! Loved that this pump has a timer!Well it doesn't turn it self back on again. I have to go manually turn it back on each day. What's the point of the timer then?Also all of the hoses have alredy rotted and cracked, cheap plastic material. Not worth it.

This beautiful pump has worked excellent for the past two summers. However, This year when I took it out of storage I couldn’t find the large red o-ring that seals the top of the pump. I tried to use it without it, and lost half of my pool overnight.I emailed the company and they replaced the piece at no extra cost and where super easy to deal with.Great product and great customer service

The pump itself is wonderful and aesthetically pleasing. However, it has an internal time that will run for 8 hours and SHOULD kick back on 16 hours later. It never kicks back on though. I have to manually unplug it and plug it back in or hit the test and reset buttons everyday to get it to run through it's cycle. It's incredibly annoying and hard to remember as I am a very busy person.

Overall I like this pump, it seems to work much better than the pump that originally came with my pool. I like the clear feature and the blue lights so I can see if the filter needs cleaning and/or if it’s on. 2 cons that are kind of annoying. 1. I can’t find refills for the filters. You can rinse the filter that comes with the pump, but where I live especially in the spring with debris and pollen it gets pretty dirty quickly. I did buy other filters that another reviewer suggested and they work but they don’t quite fit as well so there always seems to be a tiny little bit of water dripping out of the top if the pump is shut off no matter how tight I put the top on. Which brings me to con #2. The 8 hr timer that shuts it down. That means EVERY DAY, morning and evening I have to go out and turn it back on again. I’m sure I could go 12 hours, 24 hours maybe even with it off if the cover is on the pool but generally if it’s off for a long period of time it just makes it that much harder to clean and more to filter. AND what about when I go out of town? It stays off all weekend! Or a week for my upcoming vacation. That being said, if you don’t go out of town often, and don’t mind running out at 6 AM before you go to work to turn it on then that won’t be an issue for you.

I ordered this pump, and the first one one did not pump any water. Do I asked for a replacement pump. In less than 12hrs of my request I had a replacement pump to filter my freshly clean pool full of water. I am very pleased with this product, but even more the seller!!! Lights out. Completely saved the weekend

When I first turned it on, I loved it. It was the best suction I’ve ever seen on a regular pump like this. I was very happy. A day later, I cleaned the filter off and it helped, but suction wasn’t as great. Three days later, after cleaning daily, I order new filters (which are expensive) thinking maybe it’s just because it’s so dirty it clogged the filter. I put a new filter last night and shocked the pool again. This morning, I cleaned the filter and turned it back on. Two hours later, hardly any suction or flow. I just cleaned it again and you can’t even tell the skimmer is working, that’s how little suction it has. The very first time I ever used this pump the skimmer was sucking stuff down like crazy. So, I may be sending this back. Once I actually get the pool clear and ready, I will see how it goes. At the moment, if it gets the slightest bit of algae or dirt, it just stops doing the job. I will update as I go. At the moment, it’s a pain in the neck to go wash this filter off every hour or so just to even keep a small flow going. I do love the way it looks and the timer feature. I’m not sure what the issue is, could be filters, could be I got a bad unit. We shall see.
