The family works together to try and find the missing present before the party.Will the family ever find the hidden treasure? To find out, you must read this book!The chapter book has lots of bright colorful pictures, some mystery, and plenty of Poppy!My favorite part of this book was the surprise ending. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes pirates, dogs, and mystery. I think both boys and girls, ages 7-12, would enjoy reading this book. I like this book because it offers six short chapters and an easy to manage narrative that a young readers should be able to easily manage. The story should hold the child's attention and the illustrations work nicely with the text. All in all, this is a good book to move your young reader towards more challenging stories. If you are a teacher you'll want a copy or two in the classroom too!
