Why does the plexiglass have writing all over it?

It’s a film cover. Peel it off.

Will 8x10 fit standard printing paper?

Standard printing paper is 81/2x11. It won’t fit in the frame unless you trim the paper. The frame holds an 8x10 photo nicely.

How wide is the wood frame 1 1/4" or 1 1/2"

It is not wood it is 1/2” metal

Do these frames come with the mat for 5x7 prints?

Yes, mine came with white mats. Only one was missing a mat, but I used it for an 8x10.
