I do not want these in my hair!
These were supposedly "rose gold" spiral hair pins. I just opened the box and this is what I found. All of them are to some degree corroded, nasty, with little bits of metal falling off. They are simply not worth 2 cents.

Beware!!
Not a good product. The Goody brand are excellent. These are made with less sturdy metal resulting in the ends bending and overlapping so they no longer twist back out!! I have now gotten stuck so bad that I needed help to get them out on two occasions. The last time was a bit concerning. It took two coworkers several minutes to figure out how to get them out. I’m reluctant to use them again. If you decide to buy them, make sure to space them out so they don’t overlap inside your twists or buns. That seems to divert their path causing the ends to twist like when you cross your fingers.

Some are good, some not so much
Initially, I was pleased to find these for this price because the Goody brand is very expensive. They eventually degrade and my hair starts catching on them so I was hoping to find some that cost less. However, I'd say these are 50/50. Some of the little rubber nubs on the ends lift, causing hair to get stuck in them. There are a couple that also have a piece of the plastic coating (I assume that's what it is, anyway), that sticks up and that makes them get stuck in my hair which is really unpleasant.Others of them are fine so it's definitely a mixed bag.

You get what you pay for
I ordered these because I had a pair from goody brand given to me. I loved them and bought these thinking they were the same. They are not. They pull my hair when coming out and the little ends are not smooth. They are not as good quality as the name brand ones.

Works well in really thick hair
Love these. I have super super thick hair and I need to keep it all up for school/work. I use them along with a bun maker to keep the buns super smooth. I have used them alone when putting my hair in twists as well and they hold well though for that i need to use a few more at a time. the first time I used this style was the goody brand and they were fantastic but soooo expensive, I saw these and thought for this price why not give them a try. they feel exactly the same and work equally well as the name brand

BEST products for uncut hair!
Bobby pins are old news!! This won't stretch out on you or fall out constantly! For my slightly thin hair (which goes past my bottom,) I really only need 1 of these and a hair tie to do a bun all day. Using just 2, my bun won't even move. These are a GREAT price, I got them shipped in 2 days, and they are just the best for buns. I was worried they'd be made cheaply, but they aren't. They are just as great as the ones I paid the same price to get just 3. I'm throwing away all my bobby pins today, and telling all my friends, especially my pentecostal ladies!

These work really well to secure extra hair to a bun maker
My daughter didn't like when I used standard straight Bobby pins to set buns in her hair. After I watched a few YouTube videos on how to correctly use a bunmaker, I noticed that women used spiral pins to set theirs. I never saw spiral ones before. (My mom didn't use them on me in the 70s, haha). Sally Beauty didn't have any, and the local drug store didn't either. Of course Amazon had them.I'm able to wrap my daughter's extra hair around the bun, and put a twisting pin around just the right width of hair to secure it as I twist it into the foam bunmaker and over the ponytail band underneath that. I didn't believe the pins would pass all those obstacles but they did and they kept everything locked in place for an eight hour school day.My daughter loves gold and rose gold so bonus points for that and matching her hair.

Awesome hold, snap apart though
These hold my hair beautifully, however, when removing, the weld snaps at the top. I only need to use one at a time, medium shoulder length hair, they shouldn’t break. Twice this has happened, I’d love to give five stars , but breaking apart only allows for a three

Works ok but they do break sometimes
I wondered why I would need 20 of these when I would only wear 3 or 4 in my hair at any one time, but actually it's because they are not as robust as the ones I purchased from Boots a while back. I don't know if it's just my thick wiry hair, but I've had several of these break, either the tips come off or they just snap apart. The ones that do survive will eventually lose their black colouring. I'm still using them a few months after purchase, so an ok buy considering the price and the fact that you get 20 in a pack, but not worth 5 stars. They are also quite long and it would have been good if there were a few that would be half the length, although the quality is the bigger issue.

Fantastic hairpins
These are great hairpins! I have very very long thick curly hair which needs taming for my job as a nurse. 4 of these pins hold my hair in a bun all day long without pulling like hairbands do. I can't say to how durable they are but they do the intended job perfectly!

A pin with a flimsy twist
These doe the job. But it’s hot and miss. The plastic twist sometimes feel flimsy. And I certainly think twice when trying to work out in them. But Day to day they are fine. Even if I have to redo my hair during the day.

Game changer in hair updos!
These spiral Bobby pins are a life changer, and everyone with medium to long length hair should own at least a few of them! They remain hidden, twisting into any updo, and stay smug, having the hairstyle look flawless!
