It's about fit, and ease of replacement.Could I buy it cheaper? I don't know. Maybe. But maybe not.I *know* this fits. I *know* this works. I *know* I can replace it quickly and reliably.This is why I buy it from Amazon. I don't like mucking around when it comes to medical equipment. Amazon is gives me the peace of mind I need to sleep at night -- literally.

UPDATE 5/5/23 WAY overpriced.
Just a cheap made plastic product to exploit the U.S. healthcare racket & big pharma. My current AirFit 20 mask gasket has torn at the base, second time in 2 months. Since my "assigned" medical supply company works hours worse than a bank and refuses to ship, I had to bow down to Amazon for out-of-pocket replacement....again for the second time in only a couple months. ResMed should be ashamed of themselves!!! 5/5/23 woke to yet another ripped seal..3rd one in 2 months. Absolute garbage for the money 🤬

works great, but is designed to fail within a specific period of time
The adhesive between the silicone/rubber seal and plastic is designed to last a specific period of time before failing, forcing re-purchase of another. I can say this because after having three of them and having them fail in this way at around the same period of time pretty much proves it. Otherwise it could last a few years at least, and that's just not good for repeat business, right?
