how does this stay put and snug on the seat belt buckle?

The device goes directly between the belt clip and the buckle and when fastened it locks the device snuggly between the two. Also it's much easier to unlock it if you just use another seat belt clip to push between the spaces instead of the little sticks that come with it.

Is this compatible for a 2019 Honda Odyssey? I have different seat belt locks similar to this that do not work.

Hi, This version of the Buckle Boss works with seat belts with a longer metal tongue. Does it fit Nissan Ultima ?

I own a Ford Focus, so I can not say I’ve tried it on a Nissan. But, it is designed to fit between the buckle and the push button, and is large enough to fit all vehicles. It works for us.

Will this fit a 2016 Honda Pilot?

I just bought this for my 2016 Honda Pilot. It doesn't work. It is not universal for all vehicles. The depth of the buckle needs to be just right. It fits in my husband's car.
