🐾 GREAT CORD/LEAD FOR DOGS! 🐶
I’ve had mine for over a year and a half now & it’s still going strong & showing no signs of wear & it hasn’t rusted AT ALL since it had that plastic coating over it & I live in a place where it rains A LOT!! I got the 90pound cord that is 20foot. It’s durable & thick & my 85 pound German Shepard can’t break it. As long as you have the stake in the ground correctly the cord won’t get tangled. If it does tangle its human error 99/% of the time. The issue is usually because of what you are hooking the lead to or because you have the stake in wrong or too far in the ground. I don’t know about chew resistance because my dogs don’t chew on it however I can’t imagine a dog chewing through the metal on the inside of the plastic cover. If you have a wild dog that’s really strong or does chew stuff up, I recommend getting the strongest cord even if it’s double your dogs weight recommendation. Better safe than sorry. I have seen some reviews where the cord is tangled & like I mentioned above that’s HUMAN ERROR!! Not the products fault because you shouldn’t ever leave your dogs unattended just because you have this lead for outside. If you take the right steps & hook this to the right product & have it in the ground correctly this lead/cord will last for a very long time. Nothing is indestructible so it’s our jobs as dog owners to keep an eye on our dogs. It’s super easy to clip onto the stake I have for outside. She got used to her circle really quickly & knows not to try & run any further. I’ve never seen my dog get the cord tangled around her legs or anything. It’s smooth & moves easily. ⛔️ WARNING: THIS LEAD/CORD CAN BE DANGEROUS, IF YOU OR ANOTHER DOG IS IN THE PERIMETER OF THE LENGTH OF THIS CORD & YOUR DOG DOES NOT KNOW BETTER, YOU CAN GET YOUR LEG WRAPPED UP OR WORSE….. YOUR DOG CAN REALLY HURT YOUR OTHER DOG/OTHER ANIMALS OR CHILDREN!⚠️ I still have a scar from where my dog ran after a squirrel & it happened so fast that she wrapped the cord around my leg & I couldn’t get out of the way quick enough. It hurt SO bad!! I also made the mistake of walking my small dog outside with the leash while my German Shepard was on the lead & she’s so fast & ran towards a mail truck & even though so can’t reach what she’s going after the cord wrapped around my small dogs paw & hurt him. I learned my lesson after those incidents. SO BE VERY CAREFUL!! Dogs are FAST & it happens before you know it. This cord is a lot safer when it’s hook between two trees or things like that because than the cord is off the ground. But if you have a stake in the ground that you connect it too then you HAVE TO BE CAREFUL AROUND THIS CORD!!!

Great choice!
Nice tie out cable. Good length for a medium size dog. Easy to see in the grass and snow. Coating prevents fingers from getting cold if you need to reel your fur baby in. Doesn’t kink or knot. Sturdy enough to tug free from the landscape bricks my dog keeps getting wrapped around. Clip is holding up well with two months of use.

Not for high energy dogs
This lead is good quality and will work for a lot of dogs; medium-large dogs that pull and play rough may break these. It will eventually knot -> kinks break plastic -> exposed wire rusts. We have been through two of them but we have wolfdogs that are strong and determined.

Strongest dog tie out cable I've had
Fantastic lead for your dog!!! This is the sturdiest lead I've come across for my girls no lose ends, strong clips that don't have any wiggle to them. I live in the country and this is a safe way for my aging parents to let my girls out to potty if im not here without getting injured if my dogs see a squirrel and bolt. They are hooked solidly on this metal cable. It works perfect and I would recommend it anyone.

Dog tie out cables
The ends where you clip it to the dogs collar are cheap. And the little tab that you have to pull back to clip it to the collar is so small that it's hard to clip to the collar. Our dogs are small. But I had one of the clips actually brake off and the dog got loose. I replaced the clips that are heavier and made of brass so they wont rust and brake. I had one of these cables brake that's why I bought this replacement set. The cables are soft and flexible and the length that I like. I just took the brass ends off the old pair and put them on this new pair. For the price there not bad. I'd buy them again and put my brass ends on new ones.

Bv Dog Tie Out 25 Ft Heavy Duty
Works great for our needs with two 80+ lb Shephuskies...that we tether out together...1 dog on the main tie out and the other with a 10 ft lead that slides like a zip line on the main tether...they are siblings and have always gone out together...allows then safe play time together without getting tangled as well...

Bought several other brands, some claiming to be stronger than this but compromised by attachments made of toffee. This one has the thickest cable and by far the strongest more escape proof attachments.

Just received this today, and don’t normally leave reviews. This cable is awesome, seems crazy thick and strong. Has an incredible quality heaviness and feel to it. The fixtures on it are very well made and look quality as well. Compared to my last one which I bought locally for twice as much, this thing is a beast. I have a 50 kilo dog that has some strength to him and this thing looks ready to do the business. So far…very very impressed. Twice the quality for half the price. Win win.

This was perfect size for my 20 lb Beagle... good price.... good quality... I bought the lighter version as well... but it’s a bit 2 thin.... would be perfect for a cat though. Very happy with purchase. Have bought these styles of cable before... over time (a few months) they do crack and bend... but we use ours daily... we just purchase a new one.
