Can't even cut cheese
Looks good, finish could be better as mine still had burrs/splinters. Tried cutting Red Leicester and Mature cheddar and the cheese wire could not cut through. So I just use it as a small cheese board.

It does not cut right through the cheese from above, you can lift the wire to complete the cut.
It didn't cut right through, I had to lift the cheese to complete the cut!!

This slicer looks good but unfortunately it isn't
When the slicer arrived, there were no spare cutting wires, so, if the wire breaks the slicer is junk.When cutting thin slices of not too hard cheddar cheese, the frame bends, the wire bows and will not cut through. In all honesty, this gadget is junk.

Poor technical design
Wire does not stay tight enough to cut right through cheese because metal arm bends when under tension.
