Leg Saver!
Nicely built product. The entire ramp feels very sturdy for my 90 pound lab. He was a little scared using it at first but after a few times up and down it he is used to it now. I use it on a toyota tacoma so he can get in and out of the back seat. My truck is not very high but there is still room for your truck to be lifted and the ramp will work perfectly. It is long enough that it creates a good angle for a dog to feel comfortable. The tread on the ramp is a plastic. I thought it was more rubber when I ordered it but it is a harder plastic. It works great and has very good traction for the paws. Definitely worth the buy. Small enough to fit on the floor of my truck and not to heavy for my 100 pound wife to use either. Well worth the money

Perfect ramp for us.
I needed a ramp for my 35 lb Keeshond (Bandit) who just can't haul herself up into my Highlander any more. The ramp also needed to be light, because I'm small and can't lift much weight. This ramp was perfect for us. It is just narrow enough to fit onto the floor of my back seat, which makes the tilt the lowest possible. I had tried a ramp before this one that was covered with sandpaper, and it was AWFUL -- my agility dog could barely claw her way up, and when she did, she took off most of the sand on her first try. I couldn't even try Bandit on it. This ramp has a nice ridged rubber bed, and even Bandit is able to walk up quite comfortably, and sure-footed, although because it is narrow, I always stand right next to it while he climbs, with the car door on the other side to block him -- just for safety. Because it is relatively short, it would be very steep to use on the back bed of the car, so it's good that it fits into the side door (just!). Actually, the shortness is a benefit on the side door, as it fits there even with the second car parked next to it in the garage.

Strong, Sturdy, Easy,,...
Just got the ramp and haven't used it yet. It extends easily, is nice and long, isn't too heavy, and is very secure. The only draw back I can see is that the surface to walk on is harder plastic than I'd like to see - both for a secure grip and comfort. The ramp does have horizontal ridges that will give a dog purchase, but perhaps not the feeling of security. I'm interested to see how my old guy does.

Pro's = Easy to use
Pro's = Easy to use , seems sturdy, folds up and out easily Cons = Surface to hard and slippery my Greyhound has trouble as it cannot grip going up, Could be longer to decrease the angle, Also could be a little wider for larger dogs as there rear legs tend to go off the side..

Nice ramp, but not long enough for use with a 4x4
Nice ramp. Colapses to a small package. It has a rubber feet to place on both your car and the ground for stability. This is good for getting into or out of a small car or on and off a low bed. If you have a truck or an SUV get a LONGER ramp. I did not measure prior to buying (my bad) and to use this with my truck (Ford F150) or my Explorer the ramp is so steep that my dog can get up it. Defiantly should have gotten a longer one for my puppy. So take my advice. MEASURE from then entrance to your vehicle on an angle that your pet can handle to make sure you get a ramp that is long enough. Also practice in your house a few times, so your puppy gets used to the ramp before trying it outside.

Dog slips on unaltered ramp.
I gave it one star overall because my dog is having trouble with the ramp. She constantly slips. To overcome this I purchase some non-skid tape and cut it to the width of the strips. She still slips. Next I took an old carpet remnant and cut it a little longer than the extended ramp. Now working on getting the dog to accept that. I think it might take some time and a few bribes. Otherwise, the ramp is sturdy, light weight and the right side when collapsed to fit into the back of my Subaru Outback. My evaluation score will likely increase if I can get my dog to accept it.

Screws missing and falling out resulting in loss of rubber 'feet'.
The ramp itself works well but all the screws for the rubber feet were missing and other screws keep falling out. We only used the ramp five times before we lost one of the rubber feet and a few screws. It is impossible to tighten the remaining screws as they get stripped with little force.

Easy peasy!
Works great. My dog is 54#, but it would hold a much heavier dog I think. It telescopes out very easily - just pick it up and it will telescope out. The surface is a nice thick rubber non-slip surface, and it has sturdy feet at each end. It even fits in my CRV hatch backlight along with the dog. I love this thing. My dog started having a hard time with the stairs that she used to get in the car (she is turning 13 and has joint issues). This thing is a god-send!
