At first we though the book was broken because there is a button on the back of the book the says press for sound, which didn't work even after switching the power to on. My daughter asked if she could please open the first door just too see if it worked since we thought it was broken and low and behold the sound worked! I guess the back of the book is just showing you the book has sound.

Boring, cheap and nothing really good to offer. Ornaments are paper and not very cheap.

Sadly this was a waste of money. It’s a nice idea and I personally am a big Bob Ross fan, but this product is poor quality, lame, and cheap. Most of the days in this advent calendar are quotes printed on the thing. The “ornaments” included are cheap pieces of paper on gold string. The “activities” advertised are all printed ideas that would require you to go buy products and, frankly, they are obvious / common holiday activity ideas. For example, one says to go buy a gingerbread house kit and make a Bob Ross-inspired gingerbread cabin. I didn’t need to buy an advent calendar to read Bob Ross quotes and activity ideas. This should be as advertised and include small items to use in activities and the ornaments should be nicer and made out of longer lasting materials.

My teen loved the voice commentary. Otherwise it included “cheap paper”‘ornaments or craft ideas. Didn’t contain any other gifts or trinkets insideExpensive for what it was

My daughter loved this because she is into art. Adorable trinkets inside and the unique recordings of his voice were bonus.

Delivered promptly but sound didn't work and a few of the doors had been opened.Started return process and requested replacement. Second one was delivered yesterday and the sound buttondoesn't work. Going to try to find batteries (watch size) and hoping it solves the problem. very disappointed as this is a gift

Please, don’t waste your money on this! It’s such a disappointment. I bought this for my husband, because we both love Bob Ross and watch him often. 8 days in so far, and I don’t think it’s going to improve much. So far we have 2 paper ornaments that are just laminated pictures of Bob’s face logo, the activities are just suggestions to do things and buy supplies separately, and the sound bits of him speaking are just really short clips of him on his show. For that last part, I understand, because unfortunately he passed years ago, but the quality isn’t the best. I’m just being honest here and I feel really frustrated with this purchase. I just expected it to be more fun and interactive.

I love Bob but I was very disappointed in this advent calendar. The majority of the doors don’t contain any items, just quoted or “activity ideas”. While it is cool that it plays Bobs voice it’s not worth the nearly $30 I spent on it for a couple cheaply made ornaments

Very disappointed in this Advent Calendar.After spending 38 dollars plus taxI was extremely surprised on the cheap presentation.On the outside it looks great but start pulling those tabs…. Very cheap ..
