Buy this because it's hilarious, not because it's a doormat.The fabric surface is approximately the sort of fused synthetic fiber that airline throws are made from, printed with artwork.While it does have a thin rubber backing sheet, it's just too lightweight to hold the mat in place and it certainly isn't something that could serve for wiping your shoes off, but then, that isn't really what this for...Best to understand what your getting so you won't disappoint your expectations.As a novelty gag, it's awesome.It lays very low and almost looks like it's flush with the floor.I have a rep as something of a prankster so, the first couple of my friends that came over were like, "I'm not gonna fall into a shark tank or something... am I?" 🤣🤣🤣I just said, "maybe... depends upon whether you make your saving roll."I'm very pleased with it but someone who is looking for a functional, wipe-your-feet door mat probably wouldn't be.Getting it had a minor issue unrelated to the mat and I suspect it's just a matter of the seller not understanding how Amazon Marketplace sales work.Shortly after I placed the order it showed up as, "on hold." I got a message that my order was being held for payment and I should contact the seller.I DO NOT think that this was some sort of shady attempt to get me to pay twice for it. I checked the transaction and it had indeed been properly paid for. There was no snafu with my bank.I called Amazon Customer Service and asked them to check too and they agreed that everything was just fine payment wise.They contacted the seller and hopefully got everything straightened out so they understand how Amazon works and Customer Service confirmed that they were made aware that the seller had been paid and that they needed to ship the item.Tracking shipment was basically impossible and it continued to show as "on hold," until it arrived and it did arrive within the 4 week estimated shipping date.Hopefully, the seller will make arrangements to fix these issues, but aside from minor annoyance nothing negative actually happened, so... if it happens to you, call Amazon and just wait patiently for it to arrive.The chuckles will definitely be worth it.✌️😎👍

It's cute, and I'm a sucker for a running joke so this was almost a custom job for me lol.It took a while to ship but the real and only disappointment is finding out how wafer this it is!The printing on the thin material is already proving to be less than durable. The material is starting to shag and pill some, and ruins the look of it. Also since the words are printed ink/paint, that won't last since it's only as durable as what it's printed upon. I'm not really upset since it wasn't that expensive but I'm a little put out with that end of it. Buy it, use it indoors withOUT shoes and it might last a lot longer than mine did as I used it inside at my front door. I'm guessing it was everyone's rubber sneakers that really roughed it up and did a number on the print. I'd buy it again, as I stated, for a barefoot room indoors.

Got this to put outside my door for Halloween, ended up keeping it outside after. Really like the mat and it ended up fully replacing the old one I had.

The graphic, which is hilarious, exactly as pictured. The "mat" is not a very sturdy mat, with little weight to hold it down on any outside doorstep. The backing is not slip resistant. This product is closer to a placemat than a door mat, or even a table mat.

We got this for our kitchen mat. We got an anti-fatigue mat and used carpet tape to stick both together. Very cute, but I'm glad I read other reviews first. It is like a cheap dollar store mat, but painted with such a cute picture. The printing was centered and it looks like the picture shows it.

The design is not printed but actual fabric, which may hold up better. Unfortunately mat is super thin. Very, very basic mat but does have grip on the back. Will work inside front door, but not on my covered porch, which was the intent. Look elsewhere if you need an outside mat.
