I purchased this in march ! The handle broke I contacted the seller they replaced it for me great customer service I purchase a lot of items on Amazon and this company hands down have been the best to work with when it comes to quality control ! The seat is firm it fits the blue Walmart and Home Depot buckets perfect it doesn’t fit the white Walmart painters buckets with the blue letters ! This is a good quality bucket seat and it fits firmly i fish a lot and this is very handy to have on hand also it’s light weight and the padding has a solid memery foam type material it’s comfortable I’m 235 pounds holds me fine and I can spin on it easily!!!! April 15th 2023 Update the camo is peeling and I don’t know if it just wore out or has a weight limit ! I’m 234 pounds the seat doesn’t spin anymore and the camo is peeling after the second fishing trip ! Customer service is good but I’m going to have to go with another brand I don’t think this is built for people that fish more then a couple times a month I go 2 to 3 times a week also I’m 234 pounds I use it just to sit on ! The bucket only has my worms gloves and couple bottles of water in it ! I don’t put the seat lid on it until I already have my lines out in the water this wear and tear is from just sitting down on it ! I’ll post pictures of the seat after this week of fishing and see if it completely fails

Tight fit on my buckets but easy enough to put on the bucket if you carefully use a blow dryer, heat gun, or torch to warm the bucket rim and channel on the seat. Seems that little flexibility is all that is needed. Good deal.

I agree with the reviewer who said it doesn’t fit all 5 gal buckets. It does fit the openings of my 5 gal buckets but I have found that it will only snap in place in a few styles. I think it does deserve five stars though. These include Home Depot and buckets I bought on Amazon. It will not snap tight in the buckets I bought from Dick’s sporting goods. Not a big deal unless I spill any contents. The construction is excellent and swivel function is fine. The cushioning makes it very comfy. The waterproof elastic cover is a plus and fits well. I will update if it does not last.

This is very bucket specific. There are several reviews that say it works on blue lowes buckets. It DOESN'T snap on my lowes buckets. There are some reviews that say it doesn't work on red harbor freight buckets. It works on my harbor freight bucket perfectly. It MIGHT work on your red, orange, or red bucket, or it might not. Be prepared to try out several brands of buckets to find one that works perfectly.

UPDATE 7/1/22: I am leaving the info below in case anyone else in the future has a similar experience. HOWEVER, the company provided us with revamped covers for the seats. You can tell by looking at them that they will fit better. The covers are now round, not oddly shaped as before. And when placed on the seats, the covers fit entirely over the foam seats. Myself and the recipients of these were very happy with the new covers. Thanks to the company for taking to heart what was said. I wish more people responded so readily. Upgraded stars from 3 to 5. Further info about the seats themselves below- We bought these as a gift for friends, so they fit the bucket, and seem comfortable, and turn. As an added bonus, these come with the covers for the cushions. And since the friends have a high likelihood of using them in the rain, even better. HOWEVER, the material used for the covers are not cut and sewn entirely as a circle. It is cut as a rectangle (we have to assume) and sewn in a circle. What does this mean? It means that for sections of this cover, there is extra material, and parts of it that don’t entirely cover the sides of the cushion. You think you can because there is the extra material. But no amount of adjusting is going to get the cover to 100% enrobe the whole seat. Similar to “you can’t fit a round peg in a square hole”, you cannot fit a rectangular cover to a round seat. This is disappointing, because after a few frustrating attempts when it starts to rain, I can see these getting thrown, so it will be a waste of material. Currently, these covers are on the seats before gifting, as we are hoping maybe they will stretch. That is the biggest downgrade for the stars. UPDATE (5/22): I have been in communication about the waterproof covers with the company, their response to feedback was immediate. I look forward to seeing an improved waterproof cover down the road. Their staff has been polite, immediate, and very open to customer opinion. I appreciate this incredibly in today’s retail landscape.

Pad is great but the lid won't work for a 6 gallon bucket. I just removed the pad and attached it to my old lid.

Some reviews said that this lid “snapped” into the Home Depot buckets which is why I bought it. It does not snap in. It fits and if you lift by both sides of the lid, it stays in place but if you lift by the seat handle, it’s easily comes off. Not a big deal for me. I’ll just use the bucket handle. I tried it on the Lowe’s blue bucket and it does not fit at all. The blue bucket is wider than this seat. The swivel function is kinda pathetic. I guess if you’re 150 lbs or less it might be better but at 225 when I try to swivel, the whole bucket wants to turn. Not easy for sure. The swivel function is not a deal breaker for me so I’m gonna keep it. I may super glue the top onto the bucket to suit my needs. The seat padding is just ok but passable. Just my two cents worth.
