I would definitely recommend this particular hat for both the price and quality!Got this hat to wear for Halloween DYI costume, as a "helicopter-mom" to humor my freshman college daughter's embarrassment!It IS thinner fabric, but that's WHY I LIKED it!THIS hat also has an ADJUSTABLE BACK!I have a smaller head so most adult size baseball hats come down too far & push on my ears! This did not push on my ears! It was perfect for my size head. Plus it fit other party guests (with average sized heads) with no problem.(I also was not looking for a long term wearing, everyday hat!)It IS a novelty hat! Perfectly priced!The spiner on top was balanced perfectly & spun around nicely without any problems!It's a fun hat that can be enjoyed for multiple purposes now that I have it!Fun for family game nights, my grandsons love to put it on for play time!

Wore this for wacky day as a preschool teacher. My one year olds loved it and even tried it on! They loved the fun spinner on top and the bright colors.

Mine arrived in one of those Amazon brand plastic envelopes. The connection between the propeller and hand was completely broken and with the way it is designed, I don't think I can even repair this.Also, as other reviews had pointed out, the hat is WAY to small. With the adjuster on the last two settings I could see this fitting on a 4-5 year old at best. Fabric is low quality (you could argue it's because it's a "novelty" item).All in all very disappointed with this product.

Used for a costume for a play. It fits okay, but not the best. It worked for the play and would work for a gag or Halloween costume, but I wouldn't recommend it for long term wear.

This is such fun hat. My son is so proud of it. He gets lots of happy comments. This is a hat full of personality. I am happy to know my son loves it.

bought this for a gag gift game at Christmas and everyone loved it. Quality was bad but didnt matter in this case.

I bought this because im a goof. I love this hat. it fits well. Some people said it hurts their head. I dont see how. It fits me fine. Perfect in fact. I wear a size 7 3/8 in fitted hat if that gives you any idea.My only complaint is, even on a windy day, the propeller doesn't spin. This could be user error but im not sure. You'd think you just throw it on your head and voila. Maybe if I add a little WD-40 to the spinning portion part it will spin better, IDK.Other than that, I love the hat and the quality of it.I would recommend this hat to anyone looking for it. Its priced well and it shipped fast and with care. Nothing was broken when I opened the package.It shipped fast within a week.

I bought this for a parade. The colors are bright and lovely. The propeller actually works! But the material and fit is a problem. I am female and wear a small hat size. This hat does not fit well at all, even with the adjustments. There isnt enough material to allow it to sit solidly on your head! It's too short (and this is not a child's hat) so it is constantly trying to fly off my head. Another negatives the brim. It's 100% flat and does not curve with your forehead nor conform to your head. I tried to shape it in a curve but it's too thin and wont flex in the correct direction. Ah well....it was cheap. And it IS cheap. Dont expect very much. If I can figure out how, I may remove the propeller mechanism and try to use it on a sturdier hat. That would be great!ADDENDUM: Going back. I had to laugh. The reason why the brim was so uncooperative was that it is sewn on UPSIDE DOWN! I also found that an inner seam had split open between the wrong-way brim and the body of the hat. Ya gotta laugh.
