So happy with this. My balcony doesnt get flooded anymore. They provided extra hooks to fasten the bottom of the curtain. Ensure to place the hooks a little tight/further than the natural fall. So it stays hooked with high wind and rain. Also great with the sun block. Looks good - Persian beige colour. Easy peasy to install. Any SS curtain rod with a thick gauge will do. AND it does let some wind through. So i get fresh air but not the harsh sun or rain splash. My home also instantly has less dust since i fixed because the curtains seem to filter the dust. Mighty pleased that I bought this. Highly recommend

It keeps the direct sunlight out of the balcony and thus reduces the heating. However the 95% claim is totally misleading as I have used other blackout type curtains and this one surely doesn't do that job well. Lots of light still comes though and as an user I will say it's closer to 25%. So if you get direct sunlight and want darker surroundings then this isn't a good match. If you simply want to have a functional outdoor all weather curtain then it's fine.

I used them in the sun room, they reduced the heat of the room comfortabe enough to want to sit in there.
