First of all the fit. The straps fit over your shoulders instead of your neck, so you don't feel like you're getting dragged down and bent forward by the apron neck strap. The straps clasp easily in the back. The fit is not too tight, not too loose, and from what I can tell, it would fit almost any sized person because of the design of the strap. It has lots of pockets to stuff towels and tools in. It has loops to do the same. This is the perfect apron for a man who likes to have a versatile tool to use in the kitchen. Think of it not as an apron, think of it as one of your tools. You won't be disappointed. I had considered buying a Carhart shop apron, but I figured it would be too stiff and tough for what I want in the kitchen. The thickness of the material on this apron is better than your typical apron -- it's kind of a light cotton canvas, and it feels so good to wear. You can just feel the quality and it makes cooking that much more fun, because what's the fun in cooking if you can't use and play with your cool, quality, gadgets and things.

I like this apron. I’m a barista and I like the pockets. I also like the buckle instead of tying. The apron is of a cotton material so not thick like a canvas/duck cloth. I personally like that it is light weight.If you want an apron for wearing at home when you bbq once a week, I think this is a good one. I think it will handle that activity well.I am 5’3” and this one would probably fit a taller broader chested man better. I do have to fold it around the middle a little so it doesn’t hit me mid calf. But most aprons are built for bigger people, I’ve had to alter or fold every apron I’ve ever had as a short person.All in all, I like it, it’s not super heavy duty, but it is not of poor quality, from my experience.

Previously I gave a two-star review - see my original review below. It was due to receiving an incorrect color two times in a row...not the product itself. I had ordered these aprons in two other colors previously (Black and Brown) and love them. Anyway, the company contacted me shortly after my review said they would fix the issue as soon as possible. Today, sitting on my desk was box from Asaya and inside was replacement apron with the correct color. So, in today's world, customer service is so important, yet many companies don't stand behind their products. Asaya (or Amazon) made a mistake on previous orders and Asaya fixed it in a relatively short period of time. Based on the product quality of my aprons (great quality and value) and my experience with their customer service, I will be checking out their other products and buying more of these aprons in the future. For potential customers, know that these are high quality items at a very fair price and the company will stand behind the product. Thank you.Original ReviewThe apron itself is really nice and seems to be made well. I have a black and two brown ones. The negative - I have twice now ordered the purple apron and I received a brown one. The first time this happened I didn’t know it soon enough to qualify for a return. This time I checked right away and sure enough it was brown, not purple. I don’t know if it is a mispick on their end or if they are trying to just substitute another color, but this one is going back. I don’t suppose I will hear from the company, but not spending any more money with them if I can’t get what I want. Two orders were a couple months apart so not sure what is up with this.

This was a birthday present for my father, and he absolutely loved it.

The material is nice and thick without feeling too hot. Keeps me dry when I do dishes, which is what I got it for. And I love that it doesnt tie around my neck and its easy to take on and off (buckle and super adjustable). And I love all the pockets! The apron itself is perfect.The hand cloth is meh. I washed it after using it and it still looks dirty. Its also not soft, even out of the package. But I didnt buy it for the hand cloth.
