Very disappointed. Nice looking pen, but the finish was dire. The box was damaged - stained and marked in several places and the plastic barrel on the pen itself was damaged, the plastic barrel discoloured with a cloudy white blotch. I wonder if I‘d been sent a second or an already returned item, because I wouldn’t expect to find this kind of a thing in a charity shop. I will be returning.

It writes like any ordinary fountain pen and fine to use but where it's poor is that the lid doesn't click /lock into place when you put the lid back on. Because of this you can only leave it in the wooden box when not using it. You can't bring it anywhere even in the wooden box as the box doesn't have a secure lock so the pen would fall out and the lid would come off meaning the ink would go everywhere.

Very good pen, good value for money rating, not so easy to hold: the weight is too much on the cap and the grip not so comfortable; anyway it's elegant and writes well
