I am an expert and teacher of Human Thriving. This book was recommended reading in my Ph.D. program. The basis of human thriving is always the same but there are myriad approaches. The approach that one person understands may baffle another so I really love having examples of different ways to approach each aspect--it makes me a better teacher. Dr. Murphy expanded my repertoire of approaches with his techniques.

The description reads that this book contains knowledge of working with the mind, etc. All it is, is full of Christian preaching and bible verses. Nothing worthwhile on anything spiritual. I threw this book in the trash. Total waste of money!
