Cheap and not quick change
Only keeping this for the boring bar holder so i dont have to use shims with a 6mm boring bar.... until i buy another REAL and quality toolpost this will have to doToo much play in the tool holder, when tightening the tool by the handle, tightening mechanism causes the tool to shift and away from the tool post at an angleOnly 12mm square and under tooling can be used and only grips the outer edge not even halfwayActually takes longer to change tools than the standard three screws on a mini lathe as you cannot fully tighten the tool post down and be able to use the handle to lock the tool in place

Works well for the price
I use this on a 7 x 14 mini lathe and the great thing about it is that it really is quick to change the tools, after all it is a quick change toolpost so it definitely does what it says on the tin. It's also really easy to dial the tool height in which is pretty essential on a mini lathe. This particular one was very keenly priced and that made it worth the money for me. Its far better than what came with the lathe, its not perfection but if you're paying attention it gets the job done.

This is not a quick change toolpost
You have to unlock tool post to release tool carrier so how can it be called quick change. I should send it back. I will keep the original on my lathe. Please spend more and get one that still do the job
