Didn't last long with us.
We're 100% Cadbury Creme Egg lovers here so this didn't last long but we sure enjoyed it while it did lol. This makes a great little gift but you're really paying for the tin as it's terrible value for money if you just count the chocolate. The hot cross bun bar I wasn't so keen on but that's just me. Otherwise, like I said, great to get as a gift, but if it's just the chocolate you're after then head to your nearest supermarket.

Nice but could have been more
Very nice. Everyone looks creme eggs but we did feel that there could have been more in the box.

Tasty present, but very expensive
SummaryAlways loved cream eggs and this is a rich, chocolatey treat in a nicely presented tin.TasteLovely, thick chocolate shell around a soft gooey centre (eggs). The mini eggs and large bar of chocolate is also very nicely made.Value for moneyMy calculation is that there is around £6-£7 of contents within the tin and therefore, in my opinion it is poor value for money at the original price of £14.95.

Excellent products, ok service/seller
REVIEW ON PRODUCT:Cadbury Creme Egg Tin: Contains 7x40g creme eggs and 1x78g bag of mini creme eggs. The mini creme eggs are cute and just the right size for popping in your mouth whole without worrying about a sugar overload. The standard creme eggs are a bit much for me, too sweet to eat in 1 go but put them in the fridge and cut them in half for an easier snacking experience.Cadbury Hot Cross Bun Bar: Standard Cadbury milk chocolate but with some raisins and tiny cinnamon crunchy bits. The chocolate is the same great flavour and the raisins are quite nice, not too chewy or squishy. The cinnamon crunch is very subtle and easily lost as the cinnamon flavour is not very strong. The design on the tin is super cute, with tiny little chicks and eggs on it, would be a nice item to store Easter items in but is 100% recyclableREVIEW ON SELLER/SERVICE:The items arrived intact, well organised inside a sealed plastic bag. The products have been placed inside the bag in such a way that there is little room for the products to move around unnecessarily. The products arrived in mid-March and the best before on them was the end of July 22The bespoke card is a postcard (single piece of card), with some pretty drawings of easter eggs, flowers, and birds on it. It's meant to say 'Happy Easter' but unfortunately, the font the company has used makes it look like 'hqppy easter'. It's a nice card but not much use, I suppose the receiver could use it as a thank you card.Overall excellent products, presented in a simple and efficient way. A good idea if you are sending easter gifts to loved ones but lacking the frills of 'gifting' which makes it slightly overpriced.

Smaller than previous tins, but still a family favourite
We bought a Creme Egg tin similar to this a couple of years ago, and it’s been in regular use since as our sweets tin. I expected this tin might be exactly the same, but there are a few minor differences. This tin has the same diameter, but it’s more shallow. In a sign of the times, it only contains seven Creme Eggs alongside the bag of mini ones, while the one a couple of years ago still has “contains 8 Creme Eggs” written on it. The number of eggs inside is a fairly ordinary grumble, but the shallowness of the tin makes it slightly less useful as a storage tin once the eggs are gone. However the quality of the tin itself is the same, a handy, reasonably sturdy metal tin with durable decoration, moderately airtight like a biscuit tin, but with an easy-to-open lid. It’s still going to end up being handy, I have no doubt. There seems little point in telling you about Creme Eggs of course, they remain the same year on year. Yes I do think the chocolate is a bit oilier than it used to be, but there’s still a gooey satisfaction in eating it from one end or the other. I won’t get into that argument here, but I will say that I prefer Creme Eggs after they’ve been in the fridge, not at room temperature- which is true with other Cadburys stuff as well. The additional 110g bar of Hot Cross Bun flavour Dairy Milk is a nice touch, in keeping with the theme, but it’s not a flavour combination that quite works in my opinion. The cinnamon pieces are too large yet too sparse, so the flavour comes in bursts rather than in every bite, and it doesn’t really come across as reminiscent of hot cross buns, not to me at least. It’s OK, but it’s an odd kind of semi-spiced fruit and nut without the nut. I prefer other flavours.Since I ordered this item, the price on this site has been fluctuating quite a lot. Initially it was a fairly absurd price for what was included, but it’s come down to under a tenner since then, which is less absurd but still very high for what you get, or for what you’d expect to pay for one of these tins in a supermarket. The outer packaging is just an ugly plastic bag too, so it doesn’t feel very giftable. If you are interested in value, and getting the most Creme Eggs for your pennies, this obviously isn’t the way to go.The value is a problem, the presentation is a bit ugly, but the product itself is a solidly four-star staple of Easter time with our kids.
