Only after it gets dark enough. I leave mine in the on position so it will come on when it’s dark enough.

The solar lantern is much larger and brighter than the one I had purchased. I am quite satisfied with it.

Water got inside the bulb. How can I dismantle it?

You can lift out the entire black plastic portion, I used a thin knife to help. Then pull that portion out from the bamboo cage. There are screws you loosen and can access the battery and bulb.

How long the solar rattan lantern can light?

Charge for 6 hours in the daytime and provide 8 hours of lighting in the evening.
