I like it because it is well made and it works. I needed something with holes for the eyes so I can work on my laptop. And I also needed some kind of small gel pad to put on just one eye after laser treatment. The round pads are especially useful if you've had a treatment in just one eye, and they are hard to find.If you put any kind of gel pad in the freezer it's going to get hard, too hard to conform to your face, and they can feel uncomfortable if they are too cold. You need just the right amount of cold that doesn't cause discomfort. So the thing to do is just put these in your fridge. They get plenty cold that way.So the package comes with one full eye mask and two round pads for individual eyes. The material that encloses the gel appears to be thick plastic, but supple when it's not frozen, with a nice soft cloth covering on one side. The elastic band with velcro is substantial and long enough to fit small or very large heads.If you put these in the freezer they will be too hard to use comfortably on your face, so put them in the fridge. Most fridges get fairly close to freezing temperatures without freezing. I'm emphasizing this because people on here have complained about it. If you put it in the fridge you will find that it gets close to freezing cold but is still pliable and doesn't cause discomfort.This is not a "beauty mask." It looks kind of plain, dark green, like some first aid kits and medical devices. But it is well made and it works.I use the round gel pads for just one eye that had laser treatment. I use an ordinary knitted sweatband to hold the cold gel pad over that one eye, with no problem. Just have to adjust the sweatband a little to accommodate the gel pad and the angle over your eye. And you get two of them, so you can swap them out. In fact, you can use two of them as an eye mask by just securing them under a sweatband across your eyes.As far as the amount of time it lasts, I'd say about as long as all the other gel masks and pads, around 10-15 minutes. I got two sets of these so I have 2 eye masks and 4 round pads. The zippered case is a really good addition, since it has mesh pockets and the pads will stay clean without having to deal with plastic bags in the fridge.

I chose this mask because I was looking for a mask with gel, not gel ‘beads’ and it seemed to be well made. The zippered holder it comes in makes it easy to store vertically in my fridge.I have light sensitivity and live in a sunny climate, so my eyes ache. As I age, I am developing bags under my eyes. The eye mask helps with this too.I find it comfortable and the coverage is good. I am very happt with the product.

I wont lie, the edges are a bit scarchty which i dont like too much and it can be a bit stiff, but. I have a hard time puttting the gel side directly on my eyes when im having a migrane, it hurts worse and i cant do it personally, so i use the softer side and i want until the gel side warms up a tiny tiny bit, then i turn it around and redo it. You can fit the patches under the mask and it brings me alot of relief and doesnt come undone when i lay down. I havent yet tried with my hair up though but im sure that would be ok if you tried.

I got this to replace the gel mask in my fabric sleep mask. It fits perfect and stays nice and cold for quite a while. The little ones are an added bonus and make a great afternoon pick-me-up for tired, overworked eyes.

This is a high quality set of gel eye cooling pads and mask. The color is a beautiful forest green, much nicer than the typical arctic pastel blue that most cooling pads are. The gel feels malleable, so it will be easy to shape.

Its size isnot well adjusted around eyes. I have to press it below by hand so that my eye bag area actually feel cold with that eye mask. It doesn’t last more than a half hour- an hour. It is relaxing. It came in really nice package too. I think thats thermal package to put ice pack keep it longer. However, I haven’t tried it. I was expecting it to be little bit better but i guess my expectations was higher.

I ordered this product for my tired swollen eyes due to allergies. I found this is a nice product to use. It has a Velcro strap that adjusts to your head with one side that has fabric so the cold does not burn the skin. Gentle on the skin and around the eyes. It comes with two individual packs for the eyes which I have not yet used along with a nice case to keep them in the freezer. I did find that the eye pack was maybe good for 15 minutes before you need to get it cold again or switch to the small eye packs that come with it. That is the only complaint does not stay cooler longer otherwise a great product.

Poor design and poor fit. This is a thin mask that contacts the temples and forehead, so it floats on top of eyes and eyelids instead.
