This was more money than I usually spend on a cookbook but it is worth every penny. The photos are beautiful and no weird, hard-to-find ingredients. I LOVE this book.

Pictures for almost all the recipes which I love. It’s a big heavy book but it’s not the huge one I thought it would be. I’m happy with the size. And the book lies flat for following recipes. Theres no breakfasts but there are plenty of appetizer, lunch, dinner and dessert recipes. I’ve had fun tagging all the pages of my favorites! I needed a book on heart healthy eating and heard good things about the Mediterranean. Not all vegetables and fish. Plenty of variety. Great book!

This cookbook is a Californian’s take on food from the Mediterranean area. It features lots of avocados and avocado oil which are NOT native to the area and many “modern” twists to the cuisine. Will regift.
