Robert WelchSignature Hand Held Knife Sharpener

I’m sure this would work on many knives but I bought this to go with my Robert Welch knife set.It’s simple to use and very effective. A few strokes after each use and it keeps my knives super sharp.The sharpening wheel can be replaced at a reasonable cost too so will last forever.Nice neat design with non slip bottom which fits neatly in the draw between uses.

I had my reservations, that this wouldn’t work, because I don’t have any Robert Welsh knives. However it works surprisingly well and feels extremely solid wile using it. It’s a little bit on the expensive side, but it’s well worth the money. My other sharpener lasted a few months but started to look and feel tired until it was no longer fit for purpose. This sharpener is very different in its exclusive design and won’t wear out like other sharpeners. When the sharpener stones wears out, you can buy a replacement stone.

Its simple to use and has sharpened my knives satisfactorily.

I've always had trouble sharpening knives with a sharpening steel as I could never get the angle right. This product is very easy to hold/use and does sharpen knives effectively. You need to persevere with really blunt knives though as the x20 recommended strokes it suggests may be fine for already sharp knives, but isn't anywhere near enough to sharpen blunt ones properly. It took nearer x200. Happy with product though and would recommend.

Does a great job sharpening the knives. Make sure you’re careful of your fingers when chopping or washing knives after sharpening.It’s pricy but hopefully worth it in long run
