It is easy
Don’t know if you really need temp control. Turn it up and it works. Says you have to clean after each use and that is pretty easy. Glass top soap and water and no stick tray wipes out no beans stick. It’s nice to do a French roast then a really light roast and not have to buy additional beans

So so
We are starting a coffee shop, and we use this to roast and sell coffee.Let me start with positives: it is very affordable, and it gets the job done. It's a good roaster for anyone starting out and getting acquainted with the roasting process. Now for my critiques: our biggest thing is that, if you set the "correct" temperatures that should be set for a roast, it'll take 30-45 minutes to roast... that just seems way too long. We roast about 15 oz at a time, but the machine claims to roast up to 30 oz at a time. I think reaching 1st crack takes about 30 minutes at 220°C.We were technically able to speed up the process by cranking up the temperature all the way (reducing time from 30-45 mins to only 10-15 mins). However it resulted in somewhat inconsistent roast color. Some beans were too light and some were too burnt.I guess if you want to start a business, it's better to invest in a higher quality roaster. However I think for home use, it's a perfect roaster for many people; giving credit where credit is due.

Great Roaster
Very good product for entry level roasting and will grow with your skills. Evenly roasts the beans for excellent coffee.

Quit working the 6th time we used it
This roaster takes way too long to roast beans and burns itself out. I like a dark roast. I had decaf beans roasting at 220 degrees (celcius) for over an hour and the beans were still less than 200 degrees and only moderately browned. I have a temp gun and the machine gets plenty hot before adding the beans, but it takes forever to get a dark roast. Even getting the beans a high enough temp for a light roast takes forever. This may be useful if you want to do a light roast once in a while, but if you want to roast frequently, this is not the machine for you!

A whole new world to explore!
We like the ease of use and the glass lid makes it more interesting because we can watch what is happening to the coffee beans. This is all new to us and the coffee is coming out fine. The only thing that would have been convenient for us would have been the inclusion of an operator's manual and some basic instructions. All we received was the roaster. Happily, we found a wealth of information for newbies like us at Sweet Maria's website where we bought a sampler of different kinds of coffee beans. It's all very interesting and enjoyable.

No cumplió con mis expectativas
El equipo no alcanza la temperatura qué marca en el marcador de la temperatura por lo que tarda en realizar el tueste, y en la segunda vez que la use simplemente dejo de funcionar no enciende y no calienta....

Should have gone with an air cooker.
It does alright and as a plus it also roasts hazelnuts. Really hard to hear the beans cracking over all the stirring noise.
