Bread Machine Drive Belt fit for Sunbeam Bread Maker Machine 5891 5891-33 - 2 Pack Machine Drive Belt

The media could not be loaded. I bought this almost-new but very old and never used sunbeam 5891. It turned initially but then made a whole bunch of noise and then stopped working. Found that the drive belt was completely disintegrated. All the black pieces of debris in my photo are parts of the old belt. I bought this new belt set and got it working again!! And now I have a spare belt for my next thrift store purchase after I gift this machine to my sister.

The belt fit perfectly and has operated well for several months of frequent use. The machine itself is not designed for service and replacement is awkward just because of the number of screws that have to be removed and case snaps that have to be gently pried apart. The designer could have easily included a simple bottom access panel but that would have cost manufacturing time. The old belt lasted for over 10 years before deteriorating into a powder of rubber particles and strings. If the new belt lasts that long, I won't need the second, but two were the same price as one from other sources and I now have a spare. The belt quality seems fine with no signs of cracks, brittleness or being too soft. I was pleased to find this replacement part.

Fast delivery and fit perfectly. My bread machine has been broke down for several years because I figured it was unrepairable, or it would cost more to fix it than buy another one. I didn't have the heart to throw it out so it's been setting in the back corner of my closet.Well, upon cleaning out the closet, I decided to investigate what the problem was... and to my surprise, it was "only" a broken belt. This was not the easiest machine to tear apart and reassemble, but a new belt is on and now it works again.Bread making is now on my "to-do" list!!... I think that's a good thing...??

This is just a timing belt loop, but it's exactly the right dimensions for my bread maker and looks sturdy enough to last a while. Taking apart the breadmaker on the other hand, was a real chore. If you don't like throwing things away then it's probably worth it to you and YouTube has great videos to walk you through the process.

Didn't work for us. Our bread machine was so old, these belts didn't even help. Nothing negative to say, just didn't work for us. Tossed our machine in the garbage.
