This router bit is an exceptional value. It is a deep dive bit that could easily bind, but doesn't. I've been using it on maple and it does not smoke or chip. In just two jobs it has paid for itself and I still have it to use. I would buy another one from this company.

I really like this but. Using it on a plunge router with a circle jig. It makes great, clean cuts.

Well made, and does the job. Description says it will remove large amounts of material, while this is true, it's best to remove small amounts with succeeding passes that would add up to the removal of a larger amount of material.

I haven't gotten into anything on the more expensive side when it comes to routers, but for the price, this is very good. There doesn't seem to be any runout.The bit works great.

I bought this bit to cut grooves into 2x4 cedar to cap a fence I built. The fence was designed to not show any hardware so the pickets rested in this groove I cut with a router. I had to cut relief grooves down the middle of each cedar rail with my table saw to keep this bit from overworking (basically a poor-man's dado). This bit lasted through 38 individual 8 foot lengths of cedar total. And it's still sharp enough to continue. Granted, cedar is very, very soft. But it chewed through numerous knots without any problems. I probably wouldn't recommend this bit for high-end furniture work but that's not my expertise so take that advice with a grain of salt. Would definitely buy this again for the purpose I originally bought it for.

I regularly order these for moderate volume routing and get great results.

Did a great job of cutting slots for mounting wood sides on the train cars I am building.

It was working great, The project was coming out perfect, the lines were smooth and I was extremely stoked and impressed with the quality of the cut, I’ve been routing for years and have always needed a solid small bit, and this was the one I thought, until it wasn’t. I have never had a bit snap like that, I honestly think it was a manufacturer error and maybe a qc slip of some sort, thought, I was following all regular precautionary small bit routing rules and it snapped on first use, minutes into a MDF design project. I don’t know what to do? How can I tell if it was defective, I’ve have never complained about or, returned anything in amazon, ever. Can you return broken item?
