Excellent quality
VERY strong hing! I smelled it through the packaging, which included the safety seal. Bought this because cheaper hing is often cut with wheat, and this isn’t.

Very strong spice, best flavor so far. Super zing, I actually love the garlic/onion flavor.
"Stinks" like it should lol! They don't call this stuff Devils Poop for nothing, lol. In all seriousness, I love this stuff. It smells like super strong garlic and an onion combined. This is very high quality stuff and my favorite so far. I've bought from other suppliers but this stuff has great flavor and potency. One jar can last a long time depending on how hot you like your dishes, or how much your using for any health benefits.

Do not waste your money . This product is terrible. I am some one who uses this seasoning a lot and I have to say it is one of the worst quality I have ever purchased. This is going back. Do not buy .

Lid was damaged
This is a great product. A little pricey and a relatively small (20g) amount but an excellent product. It gets three stars because it arrived with the lid damaged. If it had been wrapped with a scrap of bubble wrap or something similar it probably would have arrived undamaged. Asafoetida in it's pure form is very stinky. The lid won't seal the jar because it's smashed or peened around the outside top as if it were hit with a hammer. Not smashed greatly, but enough to make the jar unable to be sealed. A little more care in packaging for shipping is in order.

Used to order lot of hing regularly from Tassyam and everytime they provide good quality of Hing. But this time I ordered Laxmi Strong Ultra hing but this it is very low quality and also mixed hing. It's not Laxmi Strong Ultra.
