Bought this based off of the photo. Instead of being medium sized and pink, it’s so oversized that it looks like a joke, and it’s not even remotely close to the color of the photo. It’s the color something would be if it were glow in the dark, but it isn’t even capable of doing that lol. I made sure it was a prime item before purchasing, but it doesn’t matter, because this item isn’t eligible for returns even if it’s in the original sealed packaging. Guess I’ll throw this up on Mercari. Complete waste of money.

Not sure why I am being asked about how this item fit, but I will say that it is the right size for an adult. This is probably not a good prop for a child to use, but only because it will look disproportionate unless that is the look they are going for. Also don't let the name discourage you on purchasing this, I am doing a cosplay of John Egbert's dad from Homestuck and this was the least expensive look-alike to the one Dad Egbert is most often seen with. Also, don't shell out tons of money on the genuine article, ie.: a functional pipe, if you only are going to be using it as a prop.

"Mike, did 'The Detective's Pipe' meet your expectations?" You're dang right it did. I've been solving murders and mysteries left and right. I feel it also makes me look more distinguished. I was just at bank the other day and the security guy kept saying "Sir, Sir, please, there's been no robbery. Stop asking people questions. If you don't have actual business here, I'm going to have to call the police, Sir." I'm not sure what he was going on about (I think he may be in on the robbery.) The important part is that he kept calling me "Sir" and that's all thanks to this fantastic Detective's Pipe.

average pipe good for kids to play with and pretend they are sherlock holmes. made of plastic so will hold up with rough play.Grandkids got a kick out of playing with the pipe.

I purchased these party favor pipes for my son's Hobbit birthday party. They were a huge hit and a lot of fun. The two pieces can come apart if pulled firmly. That was not an issue for us since the children were all at least 10 years old. They were a great value and I would buy them again.

What the picture doesn't show is that there is writing on the other side of the pipe. It's not really worth the money I paid for it.Other than that, the shipping was fast. This review is only for the item, not the seller.
