Love the feel of it

Very good product that has saved our mattress a couple of times. I will say that after about 2.5 years of frequent washing following the instructions (wash with hot water and dry with low heat), that the cover shrunk enough to no longer completely fit out Deramcloud mattress. But we were so happy with it, that we decided to replacement that we purchased another.

I got a new mattress recently and although I have always used a mattress pad under my sheets on my bed, this mattress has a pillow top and it was too much to add the thick mattress pad. I got a mattress protector with my new mattress, but it felt very plasticky and I could hear it rustle when I moved around on the bed. I didn't like the way that one felt, although it was thin. I wanted a thin, soft and waterproof protector so I started looking online. I found the Slumberfy pad and tried it out. It is perfect! Does not mask the pillow top of my new mattress as it is thin. It has a very soft feel and makes no sound, yet it is waterproof. I am very happy with this one. By the way, I also bought a protector from COOP, which was another highly rated brand. I was surprised to see that these are exactly the same pad, except for the 'private labeling', as the Slumberfy pad has "Slumberfy" embossed into the pad in several places, while the COOP one has "Coop". Otherwise they are exactly the same and Slumberfy is less expensive.

I like this mattress protector so far. It feels quality and seems to be well made. Time will tell of course but it's been a few months now and it is fine still. We have an 11" matress and 3" topper so 14" depth in total and this easily fits over and tucks in nicely. When the other brand one we alternate with is finished I will most likely buy another one of these.

On time, correct product.

First week I had it, I spilt water all over my bed lol I immediately freaked out and the top of the protector was wet so I was obviously frustrated. But I took it off and realized the underside is what is water resistant so the water never went through and my actual mattress was definitely protected!:) Very pleased about that. Next I am severely allergic to dust mites I actually ended up in the hospital last year due to an allergic reaction we didn’t know what it was until I saw an allergist (I got a skin test and it confirmed dust mites -I blew up like a tomato). So I got this mattress protector for the purpose of protecting my skin a bit from the dust and I am so happy because I haven’t had an allergic reaction since I put this protector on! I would 100% recommend. Its also thin (bit thicker than a sheet) but you wont even really know its there which I like. I’ve had for a very long time now and it still works amazing!

Long story short my cat started pissing everywhere, and did so on my bed. Seeped through my duvet cover and sheets deep into the mattress. After cleaning it for like 5 consecutive days to get all of the smell out (to prevent future attraction to the spot), I was so traumatized by the experience that I decided a waterproof mattress cover was an absolute MUST. Did a lot of research and decided on this one. The material is very soft and breathable. Hasn’t made the bed feel any hotter. Also doesn’t make that annoying awful crinkling sound that others do. Honestly have not tested how waterproof it is (and my cat hasn’t either thankfully!!!). I plan on spilling some water on it to see how well it does (hopefully my cat doesn’t get to testing it first HA). Will update review once I do that :)

I will give this protector credit for being soft, and at first touch it does seem like it lives up to it's claims of being cooling. But oh man this thing is thick, which maybe goes long way in the waterproof department, but not so great for comfort. We didn't keep it long enough to be able speak on the waterproof aspect of it.We recently got a new hybrid mattress with cooling memory foam and were looking for a protector that would keep the cooling aspect from the mattress. It seemed like this would fit the bill...it did not. While soft and comfortable under our sheets, the initial cooling capabilities gave way after a few hours of sleep and we were both waking up throwing our covers off. We had already spent a week sleeping on the mattress without the protector, so it was easy to identify the culprit after a few sweaty nights.Another frustrating thing was that after a night or 2 as it shifted on the bed it began to ripple under the sheets. No matter how many times it was pulled smooth before getting into bed after minimal movement it was rippled under us again. Did I mention this thing is thick? Those ripples were not comfortable to lay on.This may be a great mattress protector if you're not a hot sleeper, it just wasn't great for us. We ended up returning it after a few weeks. We had no issues with the return process though, so that's a big plus!
