I grabbed a roof rack corner when climbing down from the running board while washing my 2005 4Runner. I took a bad step and put too much force on the corner trim. It shattered. It had been baking in the sun for 15 years. It wasn't a huge loss because there was some chemical over spray on these corner trim pieces that stained the originals, so they needed to be replaced. I pulled off the remaining plastic bits from the original trim piece. It took a minute to play spatial relations games to see which of the four trim pieces went where. The trick is to align the trim piece properly so the four tiny tabs are trying to engage, then apply gradually more energetic vertical taps with a balled fist and the new corner trim will snap into place. To match, they'll all need to be replaced, but by the time one breaks they're probably all brittle or weathered. There is no saving these trim pieces once they're installed. All four of the originals broke as I was trying to remove them. The new corner trim pieces have been on more than a month and they're apparently as secure as the original parts. The injection molding isn't quite as nice as the original Toyota parts, but the stealership would probably want hundreds of dollars for these four trim pieces. I was forced to pay $48 for a tiny strip of rubber window seal for the cargo hatch window to keep rain from ruining the $300+ door latch actuator, so it's worth avoiding the stealership when we can.

Definitely these caps are the very best I've ever purchased. They fit like a glove! It was a pleasure to hear those clicks....solid! Hand tested...didn't move. The looks, the very best. They didn't have the heat marks, no stains/scratches. Shiny and perfect geometry! Recommended with five stars because it is a very good product! Well deserved! I'm delighted!! I wish the manufacturer prosperity and good business. It's nice to know some people still believe in delivering good quality!

Perfect fit! The car was broke my original cover off.

The parts are super shiney and look good. There are def spots that look a little stretched. You can see that in the center of my picture of the rear part. And you can see the little imperfection at the base of the single picture. With that said, you will only notice if yiu are looking for it. They look good. There were some reviews with concerns about them popping off at high speeds. All 4 of mine connected easily and I've been on the highway a dozen times with no issues. If you are a perfectionist, these may bug you. But honestly, they look great and are worth the price. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.
