Nice looking, but needed a little tweaking
I ordered four of these to cover/replace previous escutcheons.They look good, with a nice matt black finish.A couple of the mechanisms were quite tight and required a bit of WD40/rotating/bending to loosen up so they could move past the screw heads, which is obviously quite important so you can fit a key in them!I also had to clip the length of the screws (by a few millimetres) as they were too long for the depth of the wood before hitting the internal lock mechanism.

Great looking little item
This is an easily fitted and great looking little addition to a lock. It hides any rough edges from drilling and makes fitting a lock look very professional.

Cheap and cheerful
They are plastic and they feel like it and look like it. When fitting make sure to drill a small hole for the plastic pin on the back to recess or it will be hard to open and close. If I were to buy again, then I would go for iron.
