Super long lasting, wider, and they seem to be thicker also. In the first photo you see all the used blades I used in cutting off just the top half of my old quad cab (the easy cutting thinner material). The third photo shows 10 additional cuts just with one of these Dewalt 2X blades, and the blade is still good and can keep going. And this was used on the heavier structural braces. And those other used, broken, and bent blades were top quality Lawson and Milwaukee blades.

I have the dewalt reciprocating saw and i thought I'd get some blades to go with it. I like the fact that the blades are in a carry case. I do wish the carry case was larger as i have many other blades (not dewalt) that are significantly longer. So i end up keeping two cases of blades - i keep all the shorter blades in this case (no matter the brand) and I keep all the longer blades in a different case (no matter the brand). The blades are of good quality and have served their purpose well. The case is well made and matches other DeWalt accessory cases. This set is inexpensive and works well.

I have always bought the Farm and Fleet saw blades for the Dewalt Reciprocating Saw and have never been happy with the metal cutting blades. The wood blades were fine. The Dewalt 2x premium are much better.I tested one on some 1/4 angle iron and the blade went through quickly and was not dulled by the action. There might be better blades than these but I haven't used any at this point.

These blades are dang tough! Cut through a hardened steel 3/4 inch bolt.
