Working very good battery last long

I installed the device recently and for now I am very pleased with it's features and performance. Few points that I encountered that could be prevented if the device manual was more detailed but luckily that's where the seller support kicked in. He responded promply and professionaly and answered all my questions. To save some of you the time and the effort I'll go through these points. 1. Insert the Micro SIM card the plastic side UP and the metal side down, you can find in youtube some videos on that. 2. You should have a SIM card with SMS/Data and Calls to utilize all the features. If you use the default MOVE mode it doesn't eat up too much of a data, SMS count depends how many times a month you will ping the device to get info. Call is needed only if you want the device to call you back with an open microphone to hear what is going on in the vehicle. If you want to give up on some functionality you can live with "Data Only SIM" after configuring the device with a regular SIM but this is tricky due to ADMIN phone number that controls the device. 3. Some of the important commands are not mentioned in the manual. Google the "Sino Track ST-901 Manual" most of the commands are the same. Missing commands from the manual were; 3.1 Change SMS password: 777+New Password+Old password 3.2 Set the Geo-Fence: 005+Password NNNN NNNN is the radious in meters 3.3 Open Geo-Fence: 211+Password 3.4 Close Geo-Fence: 210+Password 3.5 RESTART command restarts the tracker 3.6 RESET erase all the current settings 4. The TIME ZONE wasn't explained properly. E-East W-West means East or West from Greenwich, London. To set the time zone to GMT+2 (or UTC+2) the command should be 896+Password+E02 5. During the installation put the device outside where there is a good cellular reception and a clear view of sky (GPS). I lost many hours because even though both lights were ON but the reception apparently wasn't so good. Nothing worked ! I moved it to an other location and everything is working OK since then. 6.. One thing is still not clear to me and I can not test it. We still have 2G and 3G networks in addition to 4G and 5G until the end of 2025. I don't know if the device operates in an 4G only network. Too many references to GPRS in the manuals, but I'll find out only in January 2026 if it fails ;-) Bottom Line: The hardware looks properly built (from the outside), fair price, no subscription needed, it doesn't mess up with car's elecric system or battery and very good support. I think it is a good choice.

This GPS tracker allows you to use your own sim card! Others out there work only with their manufacturers' sim so they can charge you expensive monthly fees. I found a cheap sim plan thru speed talk mobile and it has been working great. GPS locations are surprisingly very accurate, super strong magnet, and battery life is very impressive. I've had this thing connected for well over a month with plenty of juice left! The app could be more user friendly but at this price point you can't complain too much! Would highly recommend this tracker.

This is an awesome tracker...I wish however that it was at least 1 inch less on the top and bottom so that i could actually hide it on my e-bike...

Works well but the battery dies too quickly. The app worked well once we got use to it.

Me pareció excelente Fallo luego de 2 meses de uso, está en proceso de reemplazo, en general satisfecho (pues compré 2 dispositivos y el otro está funcionando perfecto) y solo se paga mensualidad servicio de telefonía celular local (sim card en prepago)

This producr doesn't work at all

Ich betreibe das Gerät mit einer speziellen GPS Prepaid SIM an einem selbst aufgesetzten Traccar Server. Eine Kombination die extrem wirtschaftlich bei sehr gutem Schutz privater Positionen arbeitet. Leider erlauben das nicht sehr viele Geräte, aber mit diesem hier hat es tadellos geklappt.

4G funziona bene sia il software che il traker dotato di ottima sensibilità e grandissima autonomia, un po' grande e pesante

nano sim won't fit and with a bracket, it gets stuck inside the device. Worthless waste of money

This thing is great. I'm in Australia. All you need is the app, no sms messaging needed to get tracking. Please read this before going through the agonizingly ridiculous manual: Forget about any instructions online and about sending SMS messages to program the tracker. 1) I bought a prepaid $15 Aldi sim good for 365 days and activated it. 2) Insert in tracker 3) Power on. 4) Download SinoTrack Pro app. 5) Put tracker in car or luggage or anything else you want to track and you're good to go!! It's not the smallest thing but works great. The app is easy, forget about any of the extra functions, those are for the wired-in trackers. You can access the tracker from app or online and see a detailed track of your car, day by day, with time stamps for each position every 30 seconds, which you can replay. I checked my Aldi account after a few days and it looks like a couple of cents/day max. My car isn't very active, a few short trips every day and it appears that the tracker battery is lasting a long time, weeks. For the price, you can't go wrong. Best of all, no subscription required. Someone in China probably knows all about my car's movements but I don't care, it works for me. I'm impressed!
