The single best kid product. Whenever people ask me what they "need" for their kids I tell them this. The truth is that maybe they don't. Maybe they want to keep their kids cooped up inside and dry but I like to get my kids outside and they want to be outside. If it's sunny out but there are remaining puddles I don't want to steer them away, I want them to have fun, explore and use up all their energy without the mess of muddy clothes and the risk of them getting sick. We use these year round and I don't intend to stop buying them.My only complaint is that they don't come in my size.

Got this today, so the wee heathen hasn't put it through the rigors of his typical day yet. I'm an industrial seamstress, so I go looking for the quality I expect from myself. All in all, this is a well made garment. I only found one tiny spot that didn't quite seal, but poses no threat of wet getting in. I foresee the top stitching not outlasting the kid but that won't compromise the garment because the seams are sealed. I got the size 4 for my grandson who will be 3 in June. He's tall, wearing size 4 and 5 clothing for length. I was worried this would not be long enough for him next year, but so many people had said there was ample room...and there is! The zippers are stiff, but that is the nature of every water-proof zipper I've ever installed, so no worries. The zippers are the appropriate size for the garment, which isn't always the case, so another plus. I'll add to this once the creature takes it for a spin.

We absolutely cannot live without these! We’re big outdoors people and take our kids out rain or shine everyday.On rainy days we’d be having a lot of laundry after puddle jumping no matter what rain coats the kids would wear. With muddy buddy’s they stay warm and dry!They certainly are waterproof even on the seams and the leg/arm holes have a nice sturdy elastic to make sure water doesn’t get in. If you pull them tightly over their boots the water will not get in!They do fit a little on the large side in the body, but i think that is needed so that you can stuff them in the suit even if they’re in warm sweaters or a snowsuit. Plus it makes them look pretty adorable :) The hood is a nice touch and comes out far enough to keep their face dry (though my kids usually pull the hood down lol).The quality is great. Ours has been passed down to our second child and it is still holding up well (probably about 3 years now and still waterproof).One thing to note is that because they’re waterproof they don’t breath well so if they’re really running around and it’s warmer out they can get a little sweaty inside, but there’s no way around that if you want something 100% waterproof.Amazon was out of stock on our size when our oldest grew out of her original muddy buddy so we changed brands and it was a big mistake. It leaked after a few times wearing it. We will stick with the muddy buddy brand! A little pricier but well worth it!

just received this, hadn't used it yet but according to other reviewers i think we will be alright as this brand seems to hold upp very well we cant wait till spring to try it..i got the 5t for my 4 yr old who wears a boys size 4 or xxs and toddler size 4t/5t sizes he is 42lbs and about 42 inches tall and this is still BIG ON HIM HAHA but i think it fits him perfect he has a few inches in it he can grow plus it looks like it will be super easy for him to put on..i got this for him for when he goes outside at daycare to play so we dont have to worry about muddy days, i just need to find a great pair of rubber boots to go with this and i think he will be a very happy boy (we got the camo color-love it)-too bad muddy buddy doesn't make rubber boots too thatd be awesome ;) --or do they already lol?? i dont know. anyone who wants to buy one im gonna say these probably range at least a sz or 2 bigger than what your child would normally wear, but any size close to your childs size i dont think you can go wrong as they will always 'grow in to it' only downside would be they might LOOK A LIL BAGGY-thats all!---buy HEY BAGGY IS BETTER THAN MUDDY AND SOAKING WET RIGHT :) !!
