No flex in hinge, feels like could easily break when putting on or when moving up on cap

For the price, these were pretty decent glasses. Not the clearest lenses, but used under a brim they were okay and the bifocals worked well. I liked the fact that they aren't polarized, so it was easy to read mobile screens, etc. But then they broke after a bit more than two months of intermittent gentle use - taking them off one day and one of the arms just fell off. I don't expect cheapie sunglasses to last forever, but this was disappointing, especially with name-brand glasses. NOT recommended.

They should state clearly that these are bifocals. I was looking for full reading glasses with UVA/UVB protection. I specifically bought these because they didn't say bifocal.

Great for in the car or outdoors without swapping to readers. Takes a bit to get used to the bifocal function

The lenses are something like "Bifocals": The largest part of the lens is not magnified, only a small semicircular section at the bottom of each lens is magnified. So it may not be what you expect, however.... I need these for driving so I can reduce the blazing sunlight as normal sunglasses do, with the added advantage that I can also look down at Google Maps on my phone and actually see the typeface of my upcoming exit (I have a 15 year-old car with no navigation capability, so I have to use the phone). They should also be as functional at the beach when reading a book, and then looking up to see what the tide brings in, all without having to lift the glasses up.
