True to size but you can go smaller. I’ve bought the largest size thinking it wouldn’t fit but, it’s just a tad too big. I’ve bought tons of XXL and larger braces and sleeves and they never fit or roll down. This type stays in place. I wear over my pants and depending on the fabric it mostly stays in place. I have lipedema and osteoarthritis so I need compression to help with inflammation in my knees. The Velcro on some of these type of knee braces the Velcro wears down especially if you wear all day. Doesn’t have medical grade Velcro but, the Velcro is mid grade. Since I don’t have to constantly adjust this brace I’d assume the Velcro hold will last. This will fit both right and left knee. The first picture shows the 5/6 XL and the last is the 7/8 XL

Went hiking in Colorado with one on each knee and was provided stability I needed. Have three tears in left knee with surgery scheduled next month. These knee braces worked perfectly.

I have been looking for years for a knee brace to stabilize my plus size knee and this brace fits. IT FITS!! I finally have the support my knee needs, and I love that I can fully bend with it on, or even kneel, thank you so much.

I Have a bigger knee since I've had my knee replacement. This brace allows me to use it on top of my pants and the brace actually fits nice. The only downside for me is it does slowly creep down and you need to pull it back up or take it off and put it back on. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

It is a nice brace and comfortable. If you are looking for a larger size brace this is for you. I suggest maybe going down a size than they suggest. It has a tendency to slip down your leg but I personally feel if I went a little smaller in size I would not have that problem. But still feel it was worth the purchase.

I have a 23” thigh circumference and the 3x/4x fit great. I think the next size down would also work because it adjusts a lot. Helps a lot with knee pain

I gave this item a 5 star review. It was what I wanted. I was pleased with it. I liked it, but I ordered a size too large. I really wanted this brace. I plan to order a smaller size.

Other knee braces claim to be “extra large” but this one truly is. I have very thick upper legs and had no issue putting this on. It stayed in place rather well for me, although I know others had issues with it sliding down. I can see that happening if you were wearing it all day, but that’s unavoidable unless you secure it with something.

Does what is needed

When I ordered this I was hoping it would 1) fit and 2) stay up. Unfortunately, while it did fit, it does not stay up. It stayed up the first few times I wore it but now it slides down my leg, no matter how tight I fix the straps. To be fair, it may just be that the awkward shape of my leg (above my knee is wider than below) is the problem and someone with a more even leg shape may have a better result. Besides the fit issue, the neoprene material and straps feel solid, decent quality (though the fact that it fit at first but is loose now could mean the elastic stretches out too quickly). Bottom line, if you have a large upper leg/ knee, this product is not for you.

Got it for my uncle, he LOVES it! Wasn’t able to find one that fit his leg that didn cut off circulation. Very happy with it. Measurements were bang on

I sprained my knee and finding a brace to fit can be a struggle, this one fits nicely and stays in place, I've had no problems keeping it on and in ace.
