Soon as my Husband installed this motor in our slider it’s been working great again!

This slide motor was a direct fit and replacement for the original OE manufactured motor.My slide would only go in or out about 4-5 inches at a time and I would have to reset it and do this several times to either extend or retract the slide. I was fairly certain it was the motor or more likely, the circuit board which controls the motor operation. Either way, I popped this new motor in and in less than 15 minutes, my slide worked as it’s supposed to.This motor is about 3 times cheaper than the original one but it seems to be as good or better quality than the original. The only issue I had was, the new motor comes with heat shrink wrap down the whole motor which caused it to be too big to fit the tight spot I had to put it in. No problem though, I just trimmed off the excess and it fit just fine.If you have an RV with this type of slide mechanism, I would suggest buying one as a spare because you will need one at some point. I’ve had three as in THREE different RV’s with this type of slide system and I’ve had to replace at least one motor in each of them. It’s cheap insurance and keeps you from being stranded with a bad motor and a slide stuck in the extended position.

Unit came sealed better than OE unit. Hopefully it lasts 15 years like the factory part. Will update if it fails.

Looks like a direct replacement. Haven't had to use it. Bought as spare to have on hand just in case.

Lightening struck the ground close to my 2019 Micro Minnie Winnebago which affected several electrical components, one of them being my slide out. I didn't know if the in-wall Schwintek motors had shorted out or if it was the harness. An RV shop told me that they tested it and the harness needed replacing and quoted me $300 if it was one of the in-wall motors. They didn't sound very confident in their analysis so I pulled my RV home and purchased a new motor & harness from Amazon. I plugged in the new harness using the original motor and nothing happened, so then tried the new motor from Amazon and it worked great. I then tried the new motor on the old harness which was still installed and it worked great so I installed the new motor and kept the old harness. I purchased another motor for a spare and I have the extra harness so I should be good. I paid less for 2 new motors & a new harness for less than $300 which made me happy

Very powerful electric motor. Installed in about an hour and a half. Following instructions of working in and out and slide work perfectly.

Unit had no documentation with it could not tell if it was the one the 500 or the 1 to 300 ratio motor

We have purchased this product before and have been very pleased with it. It can be tricky to install but YouTube video helped tremendously.

These have a nice black shrink wrap cover over the ends which should keep moisture out which is what caused my original motor to fail.I bough two as I want to replace both sides on my Schwintech slide out… PIA to remove old and to install but with patience can be done .

Solved my problem of my slide moving a foot then stopping (code 8 on the controller). Slide works perfectly again.
