I fought with smaller headed pins for my beaded craft. No more! These work perfectly. The beads are 4mm and enough of the "normal" pins didn't work so that it was annoying. I've introduced these pins while finishing my project and there's no noticeable difference with the others. - Catherine

I have bought these pins twice now. I use them with paper and styrofoam to make Christmas ornaments. They have been perfect for my use-just don’t drop them! You’ll never find them!!!

Edit 2/24: After my original review, the seller reached out and sent me a replacement free of charge. These were much better for not leaving black residue on my hands and the styrofoam. I am leaving my original review so that buyers can be aware of working with light material.Original Review: On the plus side, these did well for styrofoam with sequin and bead ornaments. They are inexpensive and stuck into the Smoothfoam I use. I am used to using a thimble after a while, so didn’t find that the smaller heads hurt any more than any other pins after the first hundred.The downside is that they do leave a black residue - it didn’t matter with my project, but my fingers were black, and I noticed the styrofoam I use for staging the assembled pins was turning black, too. I didn’t have any bend on me more than the Dritz pins I use, and the price can’t be beat.

These are supposed to be 1-1/16" long. The ones Amazon sent are 1" exactly. Not worth returning. Furthermore, I just tried to use them, and find they will not penetrate even one layer of cotton/poly sweatshirt fabric. I pushed very hard, and the pins will not go thru the fabric. Tried three of them, all the same result. They may be good for jewelry or push-pins but they are definitely NOT for sewing!

Some of the pins have no point.

I’ve been looking for pins like these for years. These are the perfect pins to be able to run my sewing machine over them when I’ve pinned something together. I do a lot of sewing and haven’t been able to find pins like these in any fabric store. Super thin!

These pins were just what I needed to complete my favorite craft and the quality, quantity and value was the best!
