This is a great demonstration tool for patients showing disk problems
This is a great demonstration tool for patients showing disk problems. It’s worth having because it didn’t one little model you can communicate A lot of detail very simply. Are use this in my report of findings. It’s simply demonstrates a disc and nerve Problem.. I am a chiropractor and I use this my office exclusively. There are other more expensive models on the market that cost hundreds of dollars. You can spend $500 on reported finding videos and they don’t do the same job. This little model does it all. I wholeheartedly recommend it for any office.

Not as finely detailed or as high a quality as the $300 models, but works fine for me
I have multiple disc herniation models. They other models all cost significantly more and are in fact of much higher quality than this one. These are very basic and I would not use them for a first discussion with a patient. But for use in refreshing existing patients about disc herniations and how/why they cause pain and how they heal (or not), these are great models to use. You can put a set of these in each adjusting room and keep the higher quality, more finely detailed models in your exam and patient education rooms.

Great visual but ours exploded on a patient
We have been using this since October of 19' but today (3/25/2020) our model exploded while demonstrating what a disc does when compressed. We got a good laugh out of the situation but the model popped and shot water and red goo onto the patient while compressing the model. I'm hoping to order anther model but would like to see if there is a warranty on the product since we have had it less than 6 months.

Useful demonstration of lumbar discs!
This simple tool gives a great visual when I try to explain to my clients how improper usage of their body can potentially lead to lower back trouble. This is a great teaching tool!
