Very good for the price
I was using one of the spring type microphone boom arms and have wanted to upgrade for my home studio. This one especially for the price works better than expected.

Holds my Samson Track Pro perfectly
I was concerned thinking this boom won't hold my Samson Track Pro which is 3 1/2 pounds. I have tried other booms and all failed. I have used this boom for a little over a month and holds up well for my purpose. I have to admit, the boom struggles a bit if extended fully out holding up my mic, but that is to be expected and I planned for that issue by buying the proper length. Adjusting the mic boom is a little stiff, and the swivel is smooth and quiet, even when typing on my keyboard, which I added a rubber cushion on the desk clamp. Over all I am quite happy with this boom. FYI, this boom was designed for heavier mics.

Perfect mic arm
It sturdy and holds my Alias Pro Steelseries mic perfectly, just be sure not to bend the arm the wrong way because I read that the cable in the arm will snap!

Looks nice, but broke.
Decent quality, very clean look and seemed to handle the weight of my mic (Blue Sonos) easily. However, the internal spring is a steel cable and the soldering job holding its ends in place wasn't great. It let go after about 10 months, and my mic hit the desk - not great. Now the arm can't even hold itself up, much less my mic. I'm hopeful that this is an individual flaw - I have another one that's still doing fine. However, at least one other review mentions the exact same problem I had. Buy with caution.EDIT: The manufacturer reached out and offered to replace my mic arms - good customer service and they're standing behind their product - I can respect that. I'm hopeful that the new arms will last.

Critical design flaw
I rarely write 1 star reviews let alone a review on general but after having two of these arms both break in the same way I felt that this needed to be addressed. Both times this product has broke it has been in the same spot, the internal resistance rod has broken near the base. Upon disassembly of the arm it revealed that a metal part which seems to be soldered/ welded onto the end seems to fail. Such a shame, the style of the arm and function of the arm worked great up until that part fails. I was using a relatively lighter microphone (rode podmic) and my first arm broke within a month with minimal use. My second one which Amazon did replace for free did last a little over a year but even that does not feel like enough time for this product to last given it's price and other microphone arms similarly priced. Buy once, cry once for microphone arms, don't cheap out on this product. Seems like this has happened to other customers as well. Hope yours breaks within the year warranty period.

Looks great but isn’t as durable as I had hoped
Upon setting everything up, the brass portion that screws into the arm broke. This wasn’t broken on arrival, but the slightest bit of what was called “over-tightening” by the manufacturer, caused it to break off. No big deal, I glued it back together as that part doesn’t really need to ever be adjusted again.Over the course of a year or so the center tightening knob had to be tightened further and further until it needed to be tightening so tight to keep the arm in place, that it blew apart. I’ve emailed the manufacturer again with no response.I really like the design and aesthetic, but it didn’t hold up as well as I had hoped.

Broke in under two years
Lasted about one week shy of two years of regular use. I bought it as my first mic arm, knowing I didn't want something too cheap but I didn't want to spend the money on a Rode.Pros: It's nice looking, feels heavy/sturdy, technically functions, and fits a thicker desktop when clamping in placeCons: Just about everything else. Despite being more expensive, it doesn't function or last any longer than the arms that cost 1/3 the price. In a lot of ways it's actually worse - what finally gave out was the sprint so the arm would no longer bear the weight of the microphone, but the enclosed design makes the spring irreparable. When it was still operable, the knob design makes it difficult to tighten, and something about the entire design makes it difficult to get it to hold just enough weight to keep the mic in place while not making it impossible to adjust. Which leads into the next issue - the springs are not of high enough quality that they can hold the weight on their own, you'll need to use friction by tightening the joints to achieve that.Ultimately, I suspect the internals are entirely plastic aside from the springs, and the whole thing is just form over function. When this one died I replaced it with a Rode and the difference in quality and usability is immediately usable. My advice is to either go cheaper or go more expensive, but this price point has no value.

Much better than expected
It appears that this company has taken customer feedback and applied it to make a much better product. Although most reviews here are positive, there are several that point out some flaws. I was very surprised with the product and it's level of quality. It was well packaged, beautiful in design, and is very solid. You can easily set the tightness of the pivot points so that you can pull in the mic easily and push it away or adjust its location with ease and without having to adjust the tighteners. The cable management is great as well. Great buy for the price.
