S&B Layu Sesame Chili Oil, 33.1 FZ

I bought this because I wanted to make my noodles spicier without affecting the flavor, this does not satisfy that goal as it does change the flavor a bit. It doesn't taste bad, but I didn't want any change of the flavor. I also tried this without putting it on anything and it was a good amount of heat, quite enjoyable. One drop on my finger and my throat was cooking for a white, so I had high hopes for it doing the same on my noodles, this was not the case. I did not experience any amount of heat when added to my noodles, maybe the water muted it. I added the oil after the noodles cooked so it wasn't a lot of water leftover. Maybe this would work better or different food, but I can't suggest it for instant noodles. If you want your instant noodles to be spicy, use crushed red peppers, no change in flavor and can be as spicy as you want (be careful).

I really like this, and will reorder. Adds great flavor and a little heat to Thai and Chinese dishes. Great value also.

I put this on everything, The small bottles are not very cost effective and I also kept having issues with online stores. Saying quantity 10 but only receiving one bottle. Which sucked cause you couldn't return it since it's food. I'm very happy with this looks how it should tastes how it should and I can use it to refill the small bottles I already have. I do suggest if you've never had it but want to try get a small bottle first they have a special pourer because a little goes a very long way. And your likely to accidentally dump to much on your food with this bottle.

The last review I sent about Hot Chili Sauce was, actually, about this HCS. We are using it happily every day. It's not the cat's meow, but we love it.

Hubby LOVES this and I hated buying the tiny bottles so often and spending so much money on them since he puts it on everything! However, I did find the same item for a slightly cheaper at a large Asian Market semi-nearby, so I'll be buying it from them from now on.

Take the reviews complaining it's not pure sesame oil with a grain of salt. If you think you might have an allergy to one of the other oils in the blend, please check the ingredients. If you're just looking to buy high volume at a low price, you'll get some cheaper oils mixed in for bulk. The important thing is taste. I use this as a finishing oil or for dressings, so smoke point and other factors influenced by the oil mixture are not really an issue. It tastes good and it's got a great price. That's all that matters to me.

I’ve used the small la yu bottles for so long and then came across this huge bottle on Amazon!!! I absolutely love the bigger size. I use this chili oil in almost all my cooking. I definitely suggest getting this especially if you’ve tried the smaller bottles!!!

Despite this product’s name, it actually contains corn oil in addition to sesame oil. The sellers should have at least show a photo of the ingredients and be clear about it. I do not recommend this product to anyone because of that. There are other products out there with pure chilly and sesame oil. We need to be clear about ingredients because as it stands now, this is quite misleading.

My son found this as a close alternative to the Way-On Infused chilli oil with shrimp we use to purchase on line or from large Asian supermarkets. Whilst in a Asian supermarket we were told that they no longer sold this. This tastes great, it's good value for money and it goes along way.

I love this oil so much. With the addition of the toasted sesame oil in this blend, it’s just delicious. Yum!

Usually bought in tiny 1.11ml bottles this is the way to go. Refill from the big one. Amazing hot chilli imbued sesame oil. We live it!
