Just like most fundemental changes books I read I definitely reccomend this book to intermediate players looking to make that leap to an advance player. This is a great tool for developing song/solo writing skills. The book goes into great detail about theory and explaining the why in what makes the great solos great.

I am no virtuoso. Clearly. Allen Hinds definitely is, however. I can't do half of this stuff, but it's fun trying. Recommended.

Well written, great musical examples

Excellent book by an excellent artist

An excellent instruction book to help build up your rockabilly licks & chords. I highly recommend it

The examples start insanely simple like you never played before and toward the end Hinds just goes ahead and plays which is useless for your own impulse. I bit on this book as something serious in content it is not.Makes me sick I spent on it.

An excellent guitar bookAllen Hinds, lthough it is unknown to many people, it is one of the best and most eclectic guitarists in the world.Its sound and style is exquisite. I have been following him for many years and I have learned a lot from him, especially to see and use the guitar in a different way. A refreshingly different approach to improv. Highly recommended !!!

Un libro non per principianti.

Ein weiteres Highlight von den Autoren um Joseph Alexander. Allen Hinds zeigt hier, wie man mit nur 3 Scalen (mixolydisch, dorisch und ionisch) sehr schöne und interessante Licks kreieren kann. In Verbindung mit technischen und improvisatorischen Weiterungen entstehen sehr melodische und spannende Linien.Dieses Buch ist eine ausgezeichnete Ergänzung zu den Büchern von Oz Noy und Robben Ford.Ich hoffe, dass es bald auch in deutscher Sprache erscheint, damit es viele weitere Gitarristen erfreuen und weiter bringen kann.
