Love this for the dry ends of my hair

I had a similar one that I bought in Walmart but they went out of stock and when it ended I just had to buy a new one and this is exactly what I had last time great product

A few months back I bleached my hair for the first time and have dyed it twice since then - it isn't heavily damaged, but it has been dry and I've noticed more split ends and frizz than usual. I decided that giving this Batiste mask in "Repair" would be worth a shot.I like the packaging - it reminds me of their dry shampoo, and it looks nice sitting out on my counter. The size for the price is nice too, especially since you only need a small amount for your hair. This is something I saw in the product listing but that I might have missed on the packaging - you are only supposed to use a dime-sized amount in your hair. I have medium-body hair that is collarbone length and wavy, and you can see how much product I used in my attached picture.Now, for the product itself: the scent isn't really listed - the "Repair" mask is made with pea proteins and fittingly has a light sweet pea scent. I don't find it overpowering or even noticeable once on, especially considering the small quanitity that gets used. The texture of the product is nice, although I don't like the little beads. I think it is a fun idea, but I don't like having to "activate" the product on my hands since I feel like a lot of the product stays with my skin rather than transferring to my hair. Not a huge deal, just not my preference for application.As far as performance goes, I'm satisfied with this. It works better than I expected actually. I applied this to towel-dried hair post-shower, and I let it air dry. My hair does look less frizzy and feels smoother, and it didn't leave behind any sort of residue in my hair. I can't speak to how it works on dry hair since I don't like using products like this on dry hair. For wet application though, it works just fine.Overall, I am pleasantly surprised by this mask. The lack of a clearly-stated scent on the packaging, as well as the inclusion of the beads in the formula, are both strange little quirks of this product. That being said, neither of those really impact performance, and I do like the results I got. I would recommend the "Repair" mask.

I've tried MANY leave-in conditioners for my ultra-damaged, platinum bleached hair, and this is a great one for the money. I'm not a professional and can't speak to the ingredients and the long-term effects, but adding this to my hair makes it MUCH softer and smoother upon drying (airdry or heat dry, even bringing some of my natural wave/crimp back that seemed to be lost to the bleaching damage.

This product does help with smoothing hair and leaving behind a soft finish, but I’m unsure of the claims of “sealing in moisture”. I have long, waist-length hair that suffers from environmental and heat damage. The ends of my hair are brittle and dry, especially seasonally. Typically, I use higher-end products to protect my hair, but I really wanted to test this specific product out to see how it competed.At the current price of around $10 for over 4 oz of product, this will be a really solid budget choice for a lot of people. Be warned, a little goes a long way. I have over 2 feet of hair and a dime sized amount was enough to offer me coverage. More than that tended to add weight and a dirty feel to clean hair. Start with less and build up if you need to.The texture of this product is a thin cream with beads. The beads were initially a little concerning, I was almost certain that they would not work into my hair, but they disappeared completely. For context, I apply this product to damp, freshly washed, towel-dried hair.My biggest complaint about this product, and the reason for my rating, is regarding the scent. It’s lovely and I actually really enjoy it initially, but it’s super strong and it hovers. Those with scent sensitivities beware, it’s heavy, thick, and cloying. It’s so much stronger than it has any need to be. It floats around the head and stays for hours after applying the product. It’s practically a replacement for perfume.Overall, I would recommend this product to those looking for a smoothing cream on a budget. This product is affordable, will last a long time, and (when used in moderation) lightweight. However, only those that love heavy scents will be able to use this.

I had very damaged, dry and brittle hair. One application of Batiste to damp hair and voila! My hair is now soft and manageable and much easier to style. I will be carrying this with me in my bag as an everyday essential ❤️
