Hotter than advertised
I was shopping for value vintage output pickups and these are described as 'neck pickup is rated at 7.93K and the bridge pickup is at a blazing 8.48K'. On delivery, I tested them with a multimeter before installing and the neck measured 9.8k and the bridge, 10.2k.I returned them as they are hotter than I was looking to install in a semi-hollow guitar.

I wish I could have used them.
I ordered a set, came in damaged, returned, ordered another one, arrived damaged, returned and bought something else. The chrome covers are very fragile I guess and the packaging very deficient. A padded envelope with no cardboard or nothing to protect the chrome covers. Too bad.

Simple and clean
Installed these into an old Japanese Les Paul. Sounds very clean. Not too loud in the mids. Low output for sure . Very happy with them.

Does what it is supposed to do
I ordered these to install in an early 1980's stradolin LP copy that I was rebuilding. That guitar had been around the world and played until grooves were worn into the frets, so it needed some serious TLC. Along with everything else, it needed some pickups because I had raided the DiMarzios out of it a few years back for another guitar and left it in the attic.Well, these pickups sound great -- they really do. They aren't microphonic, and they give good tones in all positions and all levels of gain. They are a really solid choice and I'm glad I got them.

A good Humbucker sound for inexpensive price
These worked well in my application and sounded nice when played through amp--puzzling why the 11.18K ohm DCR one was set as the neck pickup and the 4.65K ohm DCR one was set as the bridge pickup usually you see the higher dcr pickup installed in the bridge position but I installed them as the facyory Metallor had assembled them and they sound nice the neck pickup is warm and sweet and the bridge pickup is bright and crisp as you would expect from a dual pickup guitar--note that the dcr's mine exhibited differ quite ea bit from the Amazon ad showing neck pickup as 7.93K ohm dcr and the bridge 8.48K ohm--my 11.18K one has the yellow cable and has the correct for neck 50mm spacing/my 4.65K one has the red cable with 52mm spacing--
