These are really cute pom poms for young children. My eight-year-old is very pleased with these. I'm slightly less impressed than her, but I think that these are a lot cuter than the straight streamer-style of pom poms. The material of the streamers is very shiny and I like the ring style holder included with these (as opposed to the stick or handle-type of pom poms). They are securely put-together and uniform in length. They are easy to puff up and look nice when puffed - but, they do not stay puffed for very long. TIP: You can easily hold two in each hand because of the ring-style holder, and then they look much more impressive. These pom poms are an inexpensive way to make a child happy and support an interest in cheering. Overall, I'm happy with these pom poms.

These arrive flat backed with a rubber band around each pom. Remove the rubber band and "fluff" out the metallic twine inforced streamers for a full pom pom.My 8 yo and her BFF loved them. They have a nice shiny gold metallic color and make a nice ruffling noise. She prefers these to the older wireless fringe style pompoms that just hang limply.

Cute props for supporting your team but they won't last many uses. Strings are starting to fall apart already. Overall a good deal but don't expect them to last longer than a season of minimal use.
