Not compatible with the series x controller nor with my 3rd party headset which matters because this is not a Microsoft device so it should be compatible but noOoOooOo, a waste

My husband has had this accessory for his xbox controller for years now. I ordered one for myself recently because I loved his. I added a picture of his so you can see what it looks like after years of use.Pros:It makes muting yourself and changing the volume on your headset soooooo much easier. It truly is a game changer. The new PS5 controllers have a mute button, and I love that about them. But I much prefer xbox. This gives the xbox controller that same benefit. The buttons still are completely functional even after years of use. They never stick or anything.Cons:It couldn't be used with my wireless headset. Which is why I actually ended up returning mine. The buttons have some normal wear and tear from the use for years if you look at the picture. But honestly, that is expected with anything and I don't think the item should be held at fault for that.

It barely works, The mic monitoring is nonexistent, when I plug my hyperx headphones into the adapter the audio either doesn’t work or it does work but I cant adjust my mic monitoring. And apparently if you press the button for party all your sound is completely turned off.

Randomly will lose auto, have to unplug and plug it back in. Very inconvenient! Also one of those plastic prongs broke off.
