Topbuti 28" Long Heat Resistant Big Wavy Dark Red Cosplay Wig

I used this for my Jessica Rabbit costume for halloween. I loved the style, length, and color of this wig, for my costume. The only thing was, the "bangs" of the wig do not stay in place very well, so I had to push them out of my eyes all night. Was a little annoying, but not a huge deal. A few stray hairs kept going in my mouth as well. But overall, for value, a great product. Just be sure to order early, as this comes from China. I got it JUST in time. I didn't pay attention to where it was coming from when I ordered, I just loved the style of it.

Dressed up as a hipster mermaid for Halloween, and this wig was perfect! Bright red and combed well to smooth it out without losing its curl/waves. Sprayed with a little dry shampoo to take the shine out which I'm not sure if it made a difference. Either way was fine and I got a lot of compliments on it. Fit was good and wasn't itchy or too hot. Didn't move around. Wig has tightening elastic straps on the inside to get the fit right. FYI ships from China and the shipping did take forever...actually ordered it for last Halloween early October 2014 and it arrived in December 2014. So wore it this year around instead :) PS pic shows the Lynley brand mermaid leggings also found on Amazon.

I've never worn a wig before, so this is coming from a first-timer. I ordered the dark red for my Jessica Rabbit costume, and, in my opinion, it was perfect. Nice and bold just like I wanted. The picture on here looks a little darker than the wig actually is, but that's what I was going for. I think it would also be great for Ariel, especially with the length. When I originally received it, it went about mid way down my back (I cut it for my costume). Again, I've never worn one before so I can't say much in terms of comfort or itchiness. I will say that I couldn't style it much at all. I tried changing the part from the center to the side, but then you could see where the hair attached to the base part. I just had to brush it and leave it as it was. I also wouldn't recommend taking any heat to it. It had a few nice waves, but once I tried to change them with a curling iron, they went flat. All in all, I would say it's a good wig for the price. It got the job done, and I would recommend it. Oh yeah, shipping took a little longer than I like, so you may want to order a little in advance. I ordered it September 24th and received it October 17th.

Everyone keeps saying this wig was more of a darker red, I was hoping mine would come in like that but I got the brilliant red pictured. It got great reviews so I ordered it. Then thought to order another in case I messed up my styling for it. This wig is soft and long and actually comes in layered and styled (I've never seen that before), but it has pitch black netting that shows thru if the hair is moved out if it's set place...I wish wig places would use either skin tone or the wigs color. If the wind blows your all very obvious netting... But I need this for an updo cosplay, so I've sunken to the only option (as this wig does seem useable for what I need and I'm to scared of trying others this close to Katsucon. I'd have to wait for shipping then style it, and it could be worse than this one) which was buying a second one and sewing self made hair tracks from it in to make one able to be used for what I need, and styled differently than it came in so I can hide the very annoying black netting. For everyday wear it would probably be great without wind. For cosplay sure, if you don't need to style it any differently... Wish me luck!

First wig I've ever bought and I got it for an Ariel costume. I have a small head and put the clasps on the tightest setting and slid it on over hair that was hairsprayed back into a pony tail and then clipped up. I did use hair pins to make sure it stayed on bc I had to have the wig pushed back a bit off my face. Seems like it's of good quality, only seemed to shed when I combed through with my fingers. It's a little knotted in some areas after wearing for a full day so I'm going to have to get through it carefully. At this point it was great. It was very warm but it's cold outside and I tend to be cold anyway.

The only thing accurate about this wig and its picture is the length. The color is a little bit off compared to the product page. It is neither heat resistant nor heat dissipating. But the worse part is that the sheen, shine and texture is completely not as pictured in the product page. It was a huge halloween disappointment.

I like the feel of the hair. I don't like how I have to pay for it to return it because it doesn't fit. Its not the same as in the picture it is more of an orange and burgundy look , also the bangs are so weird so if you don't know what to do with it, I wouldn't recommend this product if your head is a normal size. I think it is a great feel though and it will take a couple weeks to come. I WOULD NOT BUY if you have even he slightest thought that it might not fit. It honestly wont, I thought it would but no it does not and then you have to pay to return. I repeat do not buy, unless you are sure! If you can fit it though it is very soft and it sheds unfortunately a lot, but if it is one time thing for halloween get it, its not that thick also so one time use good everyday not good.

Great color and style. I tried it on when it arrived and was excited to see it with the rest of my costume. It took a while to arrive, but this was expected. Be sure to order in advance. It came from overseas. It was pretty inexpensive, so a good buy for a costume. It did tangle a bit as theevening ewore on, but what do you expect for the cost. There were so many pretty colors that I loved, but didn't need, so I would buy again for the right character.

I used this wig for my Ariel costume and it looked really good, but it definitely tangled quite easily.

Seems fine but the colour is not as pictured. I guess if it's lit up in bright studio lighting it looks similar, but still not the same. In regular lighting it has a copper tone to it. It will have to do because I don't know where I'll find something else, but definitely isn't right for my costume. ☹️
