Love this book!
I bought this book for a camping theme I was doing in my preschool class and it is so cute! The kids love it and loved making up there own stories to go with it.

Fantastic. Lives up to expectations.
I am learning that many books for children are great conceptually, but when I get my hands on them I'm disappointed. This is not such a book. This book has a great concept which was executed well both by the author/artist and buy the publisher which managed not to ruin their work.Highly recommended.

A light on reading w/o words!
It was another book I didn't get to see opened by my grandson, and I was wishing I were there to help him enjoy it. My son is a stay at home dad, and I'm not sure he is "into" wordless books. However, they are wonderful for developing the child's vocabulary and knowledge via conversation.

Great for language samples!
This book is fantastic for gathering a language sample from younger children. Perfect for assessing vocabulary and language structure. Pictures are fun and allow the child to really take everything in.

Magical!
During a visit to his house, I gave this book to my 3 year-old grandson along with a small flashlight he could manipulate on his own. We talked about all the animals in the pictures, and if I named one, he would point it out by shining the flashlight on it. Later that night, while he was occupied elsewhere, I gathered up his big collection of stuffed animals and hid them around the backyard. Then I called him outside and we had a ball as his flashlight beam found one animal after another. Several months later he still likes to talk about this on the phone with me. The book does call for more effort on the part of the adult than the average, but it's worth it, and may stimulate YOUR imagination as well!
