Good fit and comfortable.

I’ve owned several of these “no headache” visors over the years, including both round and square brims. The round brim visors give a bit more sun protection, but I like the look of the square brim visors. I prefer visors over hats because they are not as hot, plus they don’t flatten down my hair. I ordered this visor to replace the last square brim visor I ordered 7 years ago because one of its “arms” broke (and its black color had faded, as black tends to do). For the most part, these visors do not give me headaches, plus they help protect my eyes from the sun and also help keep my hair out of my face. The biggest negative I have experienced with these visors is that there has been slight variation in the fit of the various visors, with some visors being tighter than others. That is why I'm giving this a rating of 4 stars instead of 5.

The only thing “no headache” is the name. This visor has a very narrow band that presses very hard against your forehead and does not conform to your natural skull shape at all. There are large gaps to the sides that will let sunlight in from the top. The image the lady put up of the deep groove in her forehead is absolutely true. I can’t imagine anyone being able to wear this for more than five minutes. Most of the headbands I’ve had that were nice were deep from top to bottom where they touched my forehead. This one is very thin and presses like a knife blade into your skin. I’m not saying that it will cut you but I am saying that it makes a pressure spot that is painful. I did a return on it and they didn’t take it back but they did at least give me my money back. I’m not well pleased by that result because there’s no place for the visor except the landfill. What a waste.

Perfect fit!

My hat size is very small such that one-size hats are usually too big for me. I was very hopeful, then, to find this visor claiming to be snug but without causing a headache on an average size head. Unfortunately, it’s not true. It starts to hurt after wearing it about 1/2 hour or so. It’s okay for what I needed it for, so keeping it, but more money than I would have spent if I’d know the limited use I’d get from it. On the up-side, it’s well made with quality materials.

I highly recommend! This is my 2nd one. First one finally broke after many years of use. My old one fit perfectly. This one presses a bit too much on one end, but can be moved to eliminate that problem. Gives good coverage for eyes. Easy to put on & remove. Hangs handily on a clothes hook.
